Why have I not discovered this place sooner? My husband and I went today at the recommendation of a friend. It was fantastic. We split a rack of ribs. They were meaty, smoky, lean -- excellent in every way. We loved the original/traditional bbq sauce. For sides, I had the hand cut fries which may be the best fries in Denver. I love fresh, not frozen, fries, and they were seasoned perfectly. My husband raved about the green chili and the potato salad he had. This place is going into at least a tie for our favorite bbq restaurant in the area!

Our group is in town for business and wanted bbq. Hogback was amazing! Ordered1/2chicken,potato salad, and settler beans. All three were awesome, but the settler beans were next level. Guys with me said their meals were just as good. Waitresses were a little overwhelmed, but helpful, friendly, and accommodating. Highly recommend!

Stopped on a Saturday around noon for some Q. Hogback did not dissapoint! This was our first time here-prompted by a coupon in the mail- (we love discounts), and I'm sure it won't be our last! We ordered the brisket french dip with tots, and the smoked slider flight with fried okra, and shared everything. Everything was on point, and delicious! We were hungry, and gobbled it all up before I remembered to take a pic- maybe next time.Good food, good service, and good prices. I highly recommend if you are craving smoky goodness. We will definitely be back!

Huge fan of the bbq here, great family owned local restaurant, incredible service and immaculately clean. Our family enjoyed the ribs, brisket, wings (buffalo and hog back house dry rub), Philly sandwich, brisket French dip, grilled cheese, sample sliders and hamburgers (we are big eaters). Sides also on point from the sweet potato fries to the tots and baked beans. Would recommend all the above and more. Definitely looking forward to our next visit, big thanks to the staff for making our first experience special!

Located right off Platt Canyon and 470, nice, friendly BBQ place. There is an outdoor seating area as well as comfortable booths inside. They have a few different appetizers. We chose the fried pickles. They were not greasy and had a great taste but I would have preferred a different batter coating. The chef used a cornmeal mix. Just wasn't my cup Of tea. The main dishes were BB Ribs and a plate of Brisket and pulled pork, sides of coleslaw and potato salad. Best was the cornbread! Super moist and delicious. The ribs were good, not overly sauced up which is my preference. The brisket was a touch drier than I like but still good. The pulled pork was very moist and well spiced. For desert we had the homemade peach crisp with ice cream. Delicious. Very friendly staff.

Pickles -- cornmeal breading and not thick. So depends on what you like! Not at all greasy. Firm dill pickles. Cornbread - delicious and very cake like. Moist Ribs -- great meat. Meaty ribs. Delicious flavor. Fall off the bone in the good way. Sauces -- very good. Pulled pork -- soo good. Didn't have a bunch of fat in it. Great flavor. Moist.

I was disappointed from out last meal from a few days ago. Was there an ownership change? If so, please contact them for their recepies. I will focus on one item which was the wings. Yes, the chicken was fresh (bones were not black), but beyond the very salty and less buffalo flavor, it was very gamy inside without any marination. Hint: marinade the chicken in fresh sliced oions, salt and pepper Before putting them in the smoker or BBQ - season the protein - cooking 101. Secondly, the buffalo sause does not need to be that extremely salty if the chicken is marinated correctly. Hope to have a better experience soon.

We keep coming back for the brisket. The chicken wings are amazing. Thai Habanero is as tasty as it is spicy. So good, but beware. The ribs were flavorful but a little dry and not fall off the boneGood fried okra. The settler beans are great. Potato salad was good.Don't come here for the cole slaw.

Had the French dip brisket sandwich with fries. That brisket is some of the best I have eaten. Even the fries were great.
