I'm honestly surprised this place has an average rating of 4.7 stars. We've given it a few tries now, and the food has consistently been mediocre at best.

Tonight we ordered takeout - the salmon entrée and five different rolls. My husband and I are big fans of salmon and sushi, so it was really disappointing when we ended up throwing away nearly 40% of our meal because it was just that hard to get through.

Spending over $80 on food we couldn't finish feels like a real waste.

This was my first time getting food here! I got the loco moco and it was so mfn good. I grew up in hawaii so I wanted some island local food and they had it on the menu!
The server was also very kind :) good vibes altogether.
Again, the loco moco is so good.
I did not take a picture because I devoured it immediately. But good portion (I would probably order with an extra egg if allowed)

Best sushi ive ever had. Every visit here feels like a trip back home. Not only is literally everything delicious but the staff treat you like family and I couldn't imagine a better experience.

I'm really wondering how this place can possibly have such good reviews.
Went there twice. After my first bad experience, I decided to give them a second chance.
This time it was even worse.
It started with a glass of water with black long hair in the glass. I didn't notice and started to drink water and almost puked.
Then food was brought - the quality of food is mediocre at best.
The place is gross and dirty, and atmosphere is horrible. Loud as possible can be.
The last disappointment was - had an upset stomach afterward for about 15 hours
I wouldn't never recommend this place to anyone.

Great service. Fresh food. Got everything fir the family. Even burger and fries for the kids. Karma is my favorite, steak and rice was great. And sushi are fantastic. Unagi is my go to...

What a hidden gem! If you’re longing for the flavors of Hawaii or just craving something out of the ordinary, this cozy spot will transport you straight to the islands. The garlic chicken—crispy, flavorful, and unforgettable—is a must-try and the star of the menu. With generous portions at dinner and unbeatable lunch prices, it’s a perfect place to indulge. A Japanese restaurant with a Hawaiian soul, every bite feels like a warm “ohana” welcome.

The BEST kalua pork I've had in Colorado. I've only gotten takeout from here and haven't tried the other dishes but hope to try it soon!

The kahuna burger wasn’t very good. But the restaurant has splendid decorations and it is not busy if you don’t go on the weekend.
