Food was fine for what I got, I had a Shirley Temple with some Miso and some crab Rangoon. Was supposed to be 12.56. The reason I am rating so low for service is that when I went to check out I was charged 25.12, when I look at the receipt the excess was on the tip. I do not recall ever being asked if I wanted to tip. I will almost always tip if asked, but charging a 100% tip is just shady. I do not know if this is standard practice for your business, but if so you need to post this. I know some businesses are shifting to a service fee but to spring this on customers without telling them is VERY shady. The only reason you got 3 stars is because the food was ok, but because of the shady tipping practice I will not be coming again.

We always do delivery, they always say “it’ll be 45 to an hour”…and it’s always 30 mins or less. Oh, and the food is awesome.

Amazing curry! And most entree dishes can actually be made gluten-free!

Disappointing Service and Unprofessional Management at Little Holly’s

I’ve been a loyal customer of Little Holly’s Chinese Restaurant for eight years, consistently ordering without complaint—until recently. My latest experience was deeply frustrating and has made me reconsider my patronage.

I ordered delivery and was shocked to find my food left on my porch for roughly 20 minutes without any notification. I was just 20 feet from my glass screen door, with the main door open, watching TV. The delivery driver neither knocked nor rang the doorbell, despite clear visibility through the glass. This was not a one-time issue; it’s the third time the driver failed to alert me upon delivery.

When I called to address this, the manager—who has answered the phone for years—was dismissive and unhelpful. She insisted the driver rang the doorbell, which is simply untrue, as I was close enough to hear any knock or ring. After requesting a refund of the tip, she put me on hold for two minutes, only to return and repeat the driver’s claim.

Her tone was condescending, and she shockingly told me the restaurant “didn’t need my business or money” and that I didn’t have to order from them. She processed the tip refund but abruptly hung up on me.

This level of unprofessionalism from management, coupled with repeated delivery issues, is unacceptable. As a long-time customer, I’m disappointed by the lack of accountability and respect. I cannot recommend Little Holly’s until these issues are addressed.

I have been there 2 times and the woman at the front is the most rudest disrespectful person I’ve ever come across.

Never been treated the way I was when went to pick up an order. If you ask a question, please have a little respect and listen for the answer. Worst service I’ve ever had and not to mention not receiving any food because they wouldn’t take the time to listen. Please take the time not to be rude. Never going back. Expect to feel like you are rushed and you can’t hear a damn thing. Enjoy people.

Not the first time here. Tonight the service/server was rude, rushed although only one other table with customers, the place was cold , meal was cold, server refused to allow my dinner companion to have same dish as me. Ordered her an unknown dish. Before 1/2 way done with our meals, server gave us to-go container like she wanted us tossed out. Sorry, no need to return.

Came here for their lunch special and it was awesome! There were several options for the 11.99 lunch special, and then even more for 12.99 lunch special. The kung pao chicken was only 11.99 and came with choice of soup, a great large spring roll, two scoops of rice and a very decent portion of chicken/veggies/peanuts/peppers with two dipping sauces on the side. Grabbed lunch alone, so just popped a seat at the small bar and they had food out in no more than 5 minutes. Will definitely be coming back, thanks!

Very good Asian food in Highlands Ranch! Top Service. We've been ordering takeout for quite some time now and like the neighborhood cafe!

Has Chinese and thai items on the menu. Also, has chow mien. In addition to common items, they have unique dishes - Yushan. Yushan chicken with green beans and Singapore noodles is really good! We also tried the Hollys starter, except the ribs it was really good. Food is good and made with quality ingredients and quick service!

Pretty new to the area and looking for a local Chinese place for take out we ordered here tonight. Well they left the food at our door, no knock, no call, no text, nothing. Ultimately we got a trick or treater (as it’s halloween) to see the food sitting there outside cold. Called up to let them know abd they blamed it on covid? Absolutely baffled, i didnt know covid stops you from ringing a doorbell or sending a text. Cant say much about the food because it was cold, but it wasnt very good. They didn’t really seem to care on the phone. Likely will not return.

The owners and staff are unbelievably rude, I can't support a business with values like this. The food has also gone way downhill. Will bring my service elsewhere.
