Don’t come here so I never have to wait for food or a seat. Delicious Mexican food, menudo is top tier as well as any of the seafood dishes (camarones al mojo de ajo and camarones con salsa blanca) are both tens in mine and my wife’s book. Definitely don’t try it, and please keep the waits low.

I gave this restaurant 2 stars. I did order my food online. Maybe it would have been better to go there. I ordered asada tacos and fish/shrimp ceviche. The food was blan, not much flavor at all. The ceviche was okay, but they should put lemon, not orange, slices. No limes for anything. Only one tortilla per taco, so they fell apart, and the avocados were already browning. Sauce is spicy but no flavor. For a Mexican restaurant, they use no spices. I gave them a 2 because the rice and beans were decent. Very expensive for what you get. If you really want a good Mexican food, just go a little further to Los Dos Portrillos.

Absolutely amazing! We are from Texas and have not found a great Mexican food place since moving here 3 years ago. This place is it! Everything is incredible. The margaritas are perfect. They are strong and not overly syrupy sweet like you find most places. The service is great. The food is incredible as well. I love this place.

Great little place for a margarita and some delicious Mexican food. They have a frozen margarita machine and lots of flavors to choose from. Parking is easy and the service is excellent!

My family has eaten here several times, by ourselves and with friends. The food is always excellent, the service is very friendly, and the margaritas are outstanding. This is the best Mexican food around, and we have tried all local places. This is a small, family-run kind of place. My daughter loves the beans, I love the pork. Margaritas are often loaded with sugar, these are not so, they are very good.

Top notch food and service! We love Mexican food and we had heard great things about this restaurant so after church we decided to check it out. Very nice, clean space although not very large. I got enchiladas and my husband had 2 smothered pork tamales and a Chile relleno. Food was delicious. The chips were warm and freshly made. Salsa had a kick to it. Service was efficient and the servers were very nice. We will return!

On a chilly (-2°F) Saturday evening in January around 4:45 PM, we arrived, and seating was prompt due to the limited early crowd. The service was excellent, and the prices were just as expected. We placed orders for a bean & cheese burrito and chicken tacos. To put it simply, both dishes were absolutely incredible. The chicken tacos, in particular, stood out as some of the best I've ever had. The bean & cheese burrito was equally amazing.Moses, though not pictured this time, wholeheartedly recommends Los Portales a hundred times over.
