MAD Greens - Littleton Southwest Plaza

Stopped by at 7pm on Thursday. Ordered a large Don Quote. I asked the young man to add shrimp to it. As he started to make the salad he told me they were out of the chicken that goes on the salad. He offered me a different kind and I was fine with that. Then he tells me they are out of shrimp, offers me steak I say ok. Then tells me they are out of the dressing. So I ask for ranch. I asked him how late they were open he says 9. Two hours to go and they are out of a bunch of stuff, he tells me the day shift didn’t prep anything. I get my salad and a drink, $22.00. Wow. 22 bucks and I didn’t even get the salad I wanted. I won’t go back. P.s. there were 3 employees there that night 1 helping me 1 on her cell phone one doing something else. More important than prepping I guess.

We went today ordered two salads. One of them was ordered without spinach and of course it came with spinach.

I came in about a week and a half ago and purchased a southwest green bowl with extra chicken and extra rice as well as a poncho villa salad and a mac & cheese kids unfortunately the whole meal was really bad. Our salad bowl had really hard quinoa and our green bowl had really hard rice making me think that the grains were not fresh. Usually, I would let this pass, but this is the second time that it has happened with the rice I called to let the manager know and spoke with somebody who told me they would refund the south west bowl since my husband was not able to eat any of it since most of it was rice that was super hard. Unfortunately I have never received a refund after being told I would get it. I don’t usually complain like I said I know things happen, but it is ongoing with the rice and very disappointing when you look forward to a meal and a night from cooking only to spend and waste money and end up still having to spend more money to replace the food that should’ve came correct.

NO BEETS!?!? No Crazy Ivan! I asked for the Pancho Villa with no corn, add chick peas, goat cheese, and beets. The first person said ok, for here or to go? I said for here. The person adding toppings said chick peas, goat cheese, and what? I said beets. Beans? Beets. Beans? Beets. She said ok. Served the salad in a TO GO container with no goat cheese or beets. Minimal BEANS as well! Took it back up to the counter only to then learn they don’t have beets anymore. Nobody told me. The old gray mare, she’s not what she used to be! Guess I’ll find another place to get my salads! I wish Green Fine Salad Co. was still around.

I really like Mad greens the food is usually pretty good, but the house chicken for the Picnic pesto wrap was extremely salty I was hungry so I ate it, but wow it was very hard to eat.

Let me just say this loud and clear: this was hands-down the BEST experience I’ve ever had at ANY restaurant. Period. From the moment I walked in, I felt welcomed, taken care of, and genuinely appreciated as a guest.

Now let’s talk about the food… THE SALAD. I’m not exaggerating when I say it was the best-tasting salad I’ve ever had in my entire life. Fresh, flavorful, perfectly balanced, and clearly crafted with passion. Whoever is back there making those bowls deserves a standing ovation!

And I have to give a massive shout-out to my boy Nico and his entire crew—you guys are absolutely awesome. The service was on point, the energy was great, and you can tell everyone working there actually cares about what they do. That kind of vibe is rare these days, and it made the whole experience even more unforgettable.

If you haven’t been to Matt Green’s at Southwest Plaza in Littleton yet, stop what you’re doing and GO. You won’t regret it.

Nico runs a great show at this location. He knows most customers by name and everyone leaves with a smile! Super efficient, clean, great food, awesome outside shaded seating

I am a a pregnant mom who was craving a Baja shrimp bowl. It was probably the best Baja shrimp bowl I’ve had to date. It hit the spot! The staff was engaging and friendly and the place was clean, as always. Leaving satisfied and full! Baby is happy. Mama is happy.

Food is super fresh and delicious - especially the Crazy Ivan salad! Nikko is the best! Clean restaurant too!!

Friendly staff - got the Seared Ahi Tuna salad and it was great!

We ordered ahead for a large group and the order was ready on time with no issues. The staff was super helpful and welcoming. There is seating inside and out.
