I think I have been going to Pho 92 for around 10 years. Prior to Covid, my place of work was very close, so we would often go there for lunch. Eventually, I started taking my family there and also frequently just ordering take-out. During Covid I think we probably got take-out once per week. Pho-92 remains as one of our biggest 'go-to' dine-in or take-out restaurants (including last night). The food has always been excellent. The staff has always been friendly...
First impression was not great. Soup came out warm. The condiment bottles were dirty so I was unable to add more depth to the broth. The broth felt water down. I had to add salt to enhance the flavor. Portion size and meat portions was above average however I asked to substitute a meat option but was charged like it was additional.
Bún bò Huế? It’s nice to see it on the menu since most places don’t carry it at all. It should really be made with big thick vermicelli noodles and have some pork hock and blood cubes though! Still a pretty good bowl of soup, just not what I would call Bún bò Huế.
