I placed an online order and arrived at the communicated pickup time, only to end up waiting more than 30 minutes past that. While I waited, I watched multiple customers walk in, place their orders at the counter, and receive their food before mine was even acknowledged.

The staff working the counter, mostly teenagers, seemed completely overwhelmed and unorganized. They came across as clueless, unprofessional, and at times even rude when asked for updates. There was clearly no coordination happening behind the counter, and no one seemed to be in charge.

This location really needs some form of adult supervision or management present, especially during busy hours. The experience was frustrating from start to finish, and I won’t be ordering here again anytime soon.

First time customer. The crispy chili rellano was BOMB as were the tamales. Surprisingly, the prices are extremely reasonable for the quality of food!

This is by far the best tamale kitchen I’ve been to in forever the chili is always on point the tamales are always thick and packed with meat and not dry what so ever but I’m the biggest fan for the hand held Mexican Hamburgers and don’t get me started on the staff they are always friendly and there is a girl Khi that works there who is always big help with whatever I want to order and gives really good suggestions
Let’s say I will choose this location over Chubby’s any day!!!!!!!!! Mic drop

Ordered a Combo #3, which comes with two rellenos. Instead got a combo 1. Notably I don't like tamales that much nor did the cheese enchilada look very appetizing. I didn't even realize there WAS an enchilada until I dug around the sauce after being told and found a tortilla finally.

Either way, food is usually good. But when. I noticed the error, and asked about it, the lady behind the counter simply confidently told me she gave me a 1 and moved on. But like... I didn't ASK for a one, nor did I want my partner to pay for a 1. I really would've appreciated the issue being corrected or rectified in any way at all. It wasn't my error. I clearly said 3.

Also, the chile relleno I did have was chalk full of seeds. It did taste good, but I had to deconstruct it to remove the pile of seeds at one end. A bit of seeds doesn't bother me, but an entire mouthful is very unpleasant.

Overall, just a very unfortunate experience.

Just moved to Littleton, have been wanting to try Tamale kitchen since Mexican food is a family favorite, I’m originally from San Diego so I’ve eaten mexican food since childhood. This was by far the worse I’ve ever had. Ordered a family meal tamales, and tacos, beans, rice, and a chili relleno for Mom who loves chili rellenos.
This was by far the worse Mexican food we have ever had. Was not made to order at all tacos were dry and tortillas were nasty chewy like they were made and sitting under heat lamp. Tamales (I’ve made them) were bland, dry and boring. Worst was Moms Chili relleno, was it made and warmed up yesterday, not edible. We literally tried to eat and the remainder went in the garbage. Never again….don't bother you will be so disappointed.

Just moved from Arizona so I know I’m a bit spoiled in regards to Mexican food but this was wild. The tamales has literal strands of pork. I can describe each strand thinner than a shoe lace. The masa was stale and hard. Idk how you even manage doing that.

Then the horchata was 70% diluted with water. I can assure you that is not authentic horchata. It wasn’t even sweet. Just tasted like water with a splash of rice milk and a dash of cinnamon. Garbage.

Tamale Kitchen is the best Mexican food in Denver in my opinion. Try it and you'll see.
