The chicken Caesar salad is the best! Turkey Reuben is pretty good and great fries. Empanadas are yummy. Philly cheesestake is a little dry. Didn't care for the boneless chicken wings. Burgers are okay. Service is great and fun atmosphere. Overall, decent bar food but a few improvements could make the food much better. We do enjoy have a place close by in the neighborhood.

I am not a big fan of the food here. They had a spicy chicken sandwich with homemade sauce and a pretzel with beer cheese that I loved but they are no longer available. The kids meals can also come out quite small. The french fries and tator tots are really good though. It can get a little crazy here depending on sports but if that is your vibe it is a really fun place to watch! The pricing on alcohol here is the best around. They have great punch and a good draft beer selection. We love to bring the kids here as they have an arcade area with a candy claw and seating nearby. All around it's a solid tavern that we love having around Roxborough

Waterton Tavern is becoming one of my staple spots for a quick, tasty meal when I don't feel like cooking for myself. It gives me that "mountain town local bar and food" vibe, which is probably what I love about it. I have tried quite a bit of the menu now and can honestly say that the French Dip and Fish and Chips are some of the best I've had. The portions are generous, and the service is always friendly. This is definitely somewhere to stop for a meal if you are hungry after a hike in nearby Waterton Canyon or Roxburough Park before heading home.
Parking: Waterton Tavern is located at the end of a large mall anchored by the Safeway grocery store and several other stores and restaurants. It has a large parking lot more than enough even at the busiest of times.
My salad tasted like the word sterile. I really LOVED that new sauce of rubbing alcohol they used!! Waitress was dismissive and never checked up on us. Wings were pretty fire except they didn’t taste like the flavoring.

Had a fabulous experience here today. I have been here several times with always great service and food. Today I had the BEST Cob salad. Hugh salad. Full after eating half, but couldn’t stop… so fresh. Service was excellent.
