I went to Monk and Mongoose because of the location. This is the second time I’ve been there and it’s a good place to go for coffee. I prefer sugar-free flavored syrups but they don’t have any. I ordered an almond non-fat latte and it was quite good. I can thought their prices were reasonable, as far as coffee drinks go . Great coffee spot down the road from our hotel. The inside was jammed packed but luckily there wasn’t a wait to place our order. I got a chai latte and my wife ordered one of their herbal teas. The chai was well made although it took them a while to make my wife’s tea, which was a little surprising. Such a great spot! The coffee was SO good as was their lite bites. And the atmosphere had the perfect mix of being buzzy but relaxed. My friend who is local recommended it and said it's their favorite to work at or read at, which totally makes sense. Check it out for
