You definitely pay for the ambience here. Their prices, both food and drink, far exceed quality and taste.

I definitely do not recommend Sierra! My fiancé got food poisoning from the bad or undercooked salmon. The strawberry shortcake was so dry the biscuit crumbled on my plate. The Texas chocolate cake is also dry. The food and service are definitely not worth the price. Their sister restaurant La Loma is 100% better! Save yourself some money and eat at La Loma.

This place was so good ! I’m always worried about getting Mexican food at restaurants but this green chile and the rellenos ? Literally Chefs kiss - I would buy it in tubs if I could and the enchiladas were so flavorful I was honestly surprised ! If I could eat both of those every day I would . I rated the service 4 stars because the staff didn’t provide us with utensils and we were sol for a second . Other than that everything was perfect .

Staff were all lovely and attentive which was the highlight for me. Food was good, however I think the restaurant itself could do with a bit of upgrading.

Kid-friendliness: Offered a booster seat, water in a covered cup with straw, staff friendly towards children. Would be great if they started to offer colouring "books" and crayons for kids too.

One of the best views in town from a restaurant. They seated me an hour earlier than my meeting. Food was really good. I just wish they had more vegetarian options than salads and fajita, and speciality coffees like cappuccinos.

Vegetarian options: Not many - just salads and veggie fajitas

Huge crowded place with amazing food. Had the mini chile rejenos, wedge salad and New York strip steak tacos, and an American Manhattan. Loved it all!

Guacamole was excellent.
Burger was good.
Wedge salad had only about 4 cherry tomatoes sliced in half and about only one slice of bacon.
For $18 I would suggest more of these toppings to make it better.

We went to Sierra last night to celebrate my wife’s birthday. We have been here before and have noticed this place is starting to go downhill. Upon being seated by our waitress, we told her my wife was celebrating a birthday and she took note.

Unfortunately, the service was very slow last night. We received our drinks and I was delivered the wrong drink. I was going to send it back, but our appetizers came and our waitress was nowhere to be found for 10-15 minutes so I just drank what they served me - which was fine as I enjoyed the drink I was served.

The main meals were horrible. The green chili (which is usually really good) was so spicey that it ruined 5 of our 8 dishes. Being from California my family loves spicey food, but this was so bad that you could not even taste anything – it was that spicey. My daughter could not even eat the cheese enchiladas. My son had a steak that was very undercooked – he ordered medium rare and received extra rare. Again, the server was nowhere to be found after our meals arrived so we just ate what we could. After 15 minutes or so the waitress checked on us and we told her the green chili was too spicey. She did swap out my daughter’s meal for something else since she didn’t touch anything on the enchilada plate.

At the end of the meal we were looking forward to a birthday dessert. While we were sweating through our meal we noticed the table next to us had a fancy dessert delivered for a birthday with a candle that my wife was looking forward to. Our waitress just returned with a check and said happy birthday to my wife – no birthday dessert.

This place was a total disaster and for the price they charge it is definitely not worth it. There are far better and cheaper options out there that will give you great service and food. It’s too bad because this used to be a good place to eat.

Showed up with five people without a reservation. They seated us promptly by the windows with no fuss. Isabel, our server was friendly, knowledgeable, and fun. I had the double pork chops, which were excellent and paired well with the Sancere wine. The atmosphere was delightful with 180-degree views. We have been there a few times, and the food and service have always been impeccable. Well worth a visit, especially with out of town guests. Will return.
