I'm going to leave just one star as I never tasted the final product but here's why:My daughter lives in Las Vegas with her mother and it's been "different" for all of us going through a divorce. My daughter is coming for a visit the week of her birthday and is bringing her mom so I don't have to fly back and forth to get her and she really did not want to travel alone. The bakery near our house in Vegas is very busy but always makes time for tastings when it is birthday cake time for our two kids so my daughter asked if she could pick out her cake as is "usual" and normal. I found this place with great reviews but my daughter is arriving on Monday with her mother and leaving Friday. Birthday is Wednesday and Thanksgiving is Thursday. Shop is closed Monday and Tuesday so that really only leaves Wednesday to get a cake for Wednesday and that doesn't really allow to taste, I was told I would need to place an order without allowing my daughter the simple request of having a little normalcy. I think no response would have been better than this one-"Customers don’t typically ask me to provide a tasting I prior.I provide an amazing product and I always try to be accommodating with someone’s needs and requests. But my time is limited and valuable, so you can imagine how a small birthday cake would not interest me in giving a white glove service as I do with my wedding clients, especially during the busiest holiday of the year. "I don't care how they taste if this is how you view a little girl's birthday request, it isn't always about money and who knows how much dad would have been willing to pay had that been the response but this is what I was left with.

I personally ate the sample kit so fast I needed to lay down.On the day of, I was astonished at how gorgeous our cake was. Our guests ate every last bite, and we highly recommend Lisa for all your cake needs .
This woman is remarkably talented and if you want art in a cake- look no further. We had a game of thrones theme cake and she did a spin off the fire and ice and nailed it. I let her surprise us and she went above and beyond. Also her cake is phenomenal. Everyone ranted and traced at how good the cake was as well. She’s a boss and I truly appreciate her being flexible about moving my date as I was a Covid bride and then got in to NP school.

We used A Cake Come True for our wedding cake! Lisa was amazing and gave us exactly what we asked for! We had a two tier cake with a different flavor for each tier. She let us try her flavors with two tasting boxes and my husband was obsessed and had the hardest time deciding what flavors to choose because they were all so good! Her designs are also incredible!! Highly recommend working with Lisa!

Which was not a wedding cake so I'm not sure what this other review from Robin is all about that says that... I don't think that is true!My cake was absolutely gorgeous and exactly like the picture I provided. Reasonably priced. She also took the time to make macarons as a special order and I appreciated that so much because that's my favorite thing there!This place is wonderful for a small business! So much talent! I highly recommend A Cake Come True. You can tell that they put in so much effort and dedication and hard work!!!
