We ordered the cherry and apple empanadas. We accidentally received pineapple, but the owner graciously gave us a cherry empanada for free and let us keep the pineapple. All three were delicious. The owner was very sweet and provided great customer service. Thank you!!

I got an apple empanada and cherry tart cake. Both were absolutely delicious!! Food and service earned 5/5, while atmosphere was a 4/5 because the inside of the place is pretty chill but no music plays to fill the space. The owners are kind and friendly and aren’t scared to make some conversation with you! They made me feel welcomed. I will definitely be coming back to try other savory and sweet empanadas.

I love eating at abuelita's empanadas, they offer a variety of empanadas, my favorite is the spinach and queso, they also offer jarritos and other beverages and my kids love their cup of corn! They fry all their empanadas to order and if you're lucky you'll meet abuelita!

We love some good empanadas!
We got one steak and one spicy chicken.
Had them heated, yum.
Friendly owners, neat location.
But a tad pricey for me at $4-5 per small empanada.

For $5 this is a joke lol. Would rate lower if possible.

Atmosphere only got a 4 because its just a tiny little shop in a local marketplace, which I like, so maybe it should be a 5? But there is no doubt that these were some of the flakiest, most delicious empanadas I have tasted. Well worth eating two! Five stars!
Theas empanadas were the best empanadas I’ve ever had!!!
Awesome place with great empanadas!

The Horchata was the worst I have ever had. It tasted like a weird super sweet artificial cinnamon flavor. Do not recommend. Didn't try the empanadas, but will come back to try them.
Atmosphere was in a little mall. Very nice everybody was kind. The food took a lot more that 5 minutes though. Worth the wait.
Wheelchair accessibility: The shop is on the first floor of the mall so it’s accessible by wheelchair

First off, the empanadas were a lot smaller than in the display case. Yet they were still very expensive.
Secondly, the pastry was so dry and flaked off in a really weird way. Oddly burned in some spots but not others.
Thirdly, there was almost no flavor to any of the empanadas.
I suspect that they served us empanadas that had been frozen for years.
I don’t say this very often, but what we were served was completely inedible.
We tried chicken tinga, another chicken spice one, and “caramel” (dulce de leche).
