The owner is rude and posts some really inappropriate things to their social media that often get deleted, but the pastries and bread really are fantastic. I get that it has been especially difficult during Covid, but some things just do not need to be said or posted. Some of the prices are a bit obnoxious, but everything we have tried from here over the years has been delicious. Croissants, baguette, the pastry snails, the conatos (don't know how to spell it), the chocolate cake, morning buns, pizzas, some pastry with sous vide rhubarb that was annoyingly expensive but so good. Great place for breakfast or when you feel like treating yourself.

First visit ever, although I've had my eye on Babettes for a while based on friends' chatter. I drove up from Gunbarrel just for this. I ordered the croque monsieur, basically a ham and cheese croissant, and a country loaf. The funny thing is, I ordered the croque monsieur in French, because that's what the placard in front of it said and I lived in Paris for a while when I was young. I was feeling STRONG in my temporarily borrowed Parisian soul. The French ambiance in the shop brought that out in me! But that was decades ago, and the person behind the counter stared at me and, after three glottal attempts on my part, said "Do you mean the ham and cheese croissant?" LOL, I was deservedly deflated but also charmed by their patience. The ham and cheese bun (now I'm even afraid to try saying croissant) was quite good, and the country loaf was the star, really an excellent loaf. Will be back regularly, and want to try the pizza, which looked promising. I loved everything about the place, service, ambiance, food. Plus it's in Prospect, a nice place to wander around in while you eat your ham and cheese bun and think about all the nice things you'll be putting on slices of your country loaf.

I love the ham and cheese croissant and any of their sweet stuffs. Cute little shop. I agree with other sentiments re: their loaves can be a bit burnt at the bottom. We usually shave off the bottom and enjoy the rest - super tasty.

Look, I’m not saying I’m a baked goods expert by any means but if I could survive on pastries and bread alone I would and I have NEVER tasted anything as amazing, literally in my entire life. One of our vendors brought us in a variety at work today and I am compelled to write this without ever having stepped foot into the bakery because I am THAT impressed. The layers, the flakiness, the chewy texture, everything is beyond what I’ve ever experienced in my life. Sounds dramatic, I know, but it’s not. You just might ruin my keto diet, and I’m not sad about it. Thank you for being in the city I live in.

Absolutely delicious and amazing bakery. Great selection, I wanted to buy everything! They have coffee and you can get pizza too. We got there at opening and there was a line. It was my first time so I'm not sure if it's always like that or it was because of Mother's Day. Either way -worth the wait to get a delicious breakfast. I love blueberries and these were perfect. The right amount of blueberries and they were sweet and ripe. Highly recommend!

I was in town recently visiting my family in Erie. I was looking for a place that had fresh pastries. I found Babette's and picked up some pastries. They were not only beautiful, but they were Amazing! The Morning Buns were Fantastic. The chocolate croissants were excellent. My family loved all of the pastries and I've been obsessing about them ever since. When I'm back in town I'll try the pizza. It looked absolutely delicious. They were a little more expensive, but in my opinion worth every penny. These are definitely artisan pastries and crafted with love.

Wow! my new favorite bakery. Their cheese danishes are the best I’ve ever had. And today with a blueberry cheese danish it gets even better.
My boyfriend and I moved to Fort Collins in September and have been on a mission to find the best almond croissant. Nothing so far has been even remotely edible, until we found this place! This was, simply put, the most incredible breakfast pastry I have ever eaten in my life. I had the cherry cheese danish, beautiful flaky pastry, sweet juicy cherries and the tangy cheese make this the most perfect treat. Absolutely worth the 40 minute drive for us.

Every single thing about this place is five stars worthy! Their pastries are quite literally the best that I've ever had. I mean , the lamination is insane. I've traveled many places in my life including Europe and these pastries rival the best. I have always found the staff to be warm, friendly, and quite helpful. The location and building are also very cool. We are seriously so lucky to have such a great spot here in Longmont.

Delicious breads, croissants, danish and so much more! The pizza is amazing. Buy something for breakfast or a snack and add one of their espresso drinks then enjoy it in their indoor seating or rooftop seating. I thoroughly recommend you plan a visit.
