“We went to Martini's for my birthday dinner during restaurant week. We both opted for the restaurant week special and the food was truly delicious! We also appreciated that we were seated in a relatively quiet area so we were actually able to talk to (and hear) one another. If there was one issue that I think should be addressed, it's that our server did not appear to be well trained. That's NOT to say he was unfriendly. Just the opposite. A lovely guy, very open and courteous. But we've felt for a long time that Martini's aspires to be considered one of Longmont's "fine dining" establishments (of which we have very few). But when the server brings the appetizer within minutes of our placing our order (no time to sit with our cocktails) and then proceeds to bring us the soup course before we were halfway done with the appetizer, that's a training issue. When we were seating, the hostess set down menus and bread plates. But since we didn't receive any bread, we asked about it and the server did then bring some. Why was that not offered at the beginning as we ordered drinks? Why weren't we given some time with cocktails before food service was started, then appeared to actually be rushed? We commented on this to the server and told him we didn't want the entrees served until we were done with the soup and appetizer and he did accomodate that request. We really like Martini's and our scores reflect that. If I hadn't been asked to leave this review, I probably wouldn't have left one, as there weren't any serious issues. But they could be elevated another notch if they took care to tweak the training of their servers to the next level.“

“We had the tastiest adult beverages there! I had the whiskey sour and others in my group tried the different margaritas. We agreed that all beverages were d-lish and we highly recommend.
Food was good, but not great. I had the burger, it was average. Others in my group had the mac'n cheese, they really enjoyed it, and the burnt end brisket and baked potato was good, but again not great. Prices were on par with the food and the beverages.“
