I’ve been meaning to write a review since about 2018.It's a great neighborhood spot with a nice atmosphere. However when the fireplace is on, the shop is overly heated.The drinks and food are good, albeit pricey like everything nowadays.Most of the staff are often grumpy and unfriendly.I recently got criticized by an employee for double checking the lid of my drink was on securely. The very next week, I was given a drink with a lid on it by another worker. I didn’t check that it was on properly and I spilled all over myself when sitting down.The shop call be full of people near closing time with customers still ordering, and yet the staff rudely shoo everyone out at 2:45. I’ve seen this happen multiple times.

Great atmosphere to sit and enjoy friends, coffee and also something to eat that was healthy and fresh. Staff was friendly and helpful when it came to suggestions from your menu.
It was fine. I liked the espresso taste, just not a great pull - if it's top notch espresso you want you might try elsewhere. Mediterranean avocado toast was good. The right size portion. And the space is very inviting and comfy.
Great eggs, tarts, savories and sweets, breakfasts, brunches and espresso / coffee. I’m basically just working my way thru the menu — everything is delicious and so artfully served. The smoked salmon-dill-egg croissant is life-changing ☺️
Great for dietary restrictions, gluten free, and many veg and vegan options. Wide open space, yet managed to feel cozy. Our portions were small but well prepared. Great place for a weekday brunch when all the other breakfast places only do that later or on the weekends.
Coffee was okay and the pastry was very good. But 2 stars because of the barista and cashier who audibly complained about having to call out my non-white name. The barista put out 4 other drinks before begrudgingly calling out my name, even though I could see my cappuccino had already been made. To the owners, coffee shops should feel welcoming, please do some cultural/diversity training with your staff. Or just ask them to be more quiet if they want to speak rudely about an ethnic name, either works.
