Bartender couldnt make mojitos nor mules, food took forever and was bland, I think the waitress was avoiding us because our experience was so bad, and they said they wouldnt charge for the drinks we didnt drink because they were just lime juice but they were on our bill anyway. There are far better places, staff, drnks and food around town.

We have been to El Mercado multiple times and enjoyed the food and drinks every time! The margaritas are very good (and we are picky!)- we like to go for weekend afternoon drinks! All of the food we have tried is delicious- especially the street corn, Gringa taco and ATX taco...soooooo good! :)

Very disappointing experience - in fact the worst experience I've had in many years eating out. I had to get up after half an hour of waiting to just get chips and salsa. After waiting 50 mins we finally had to leave as the kids couldn't sit anymore. The concept seems nice when you read about the place on their menu but execution is terrible. Seems like the kitchen and wait staff is overwhelmed when an order comes along.
