One of the rare Indian restaurants by Indian people. So if you are looking for authentic North Indian food, flavors, spices and smells .. this is it!
We had samosa, aloo tikki chaat, chicken makhni, saag chicken, goat biryani, naan and lassi. Everything was great, flavors were popping, and 30 minutes later I still feel good in my belly.

My favorite place in Longmont. Chili chicken is amazing

Exceeded my expectations. We had the lamb chops tandoori and the salmon tandoori. WOW!! So much flavor and not spicy. I also took some friends from India who had spicy samosas and spicy vegetarian dishes that they adored. My son-in-law from Kentucky never had indian food before. He likes spicy and just LOVED the lamb vindaloo. A very special night in a wonderful atmosphere and really warm, friendly service. We'll be back!

Loving Colorado

Flavor of India is one of our favorite places in Longmont and I love their lunch combo. I also love their spicy iced tea and they've got great chicken masala, creamy meatballs and kormas. Samosa lovers you will not be disappointed! I do wish they had their upstairs patio open earlier and later in the spring and fall but other than that this is the perfect place to go and have Indian food! Make sure you order extra to take home and have leftovers!

I have been here no less than 25 times and this place never ceases to amaze me. I have had most things on their menu at this point, and am always very impressed with their dishes. I love the cozy atmosphere, seasonal cocktails, and revolving list of appetizers. I always look forward to coming here after a long week for good comfort food and a full stomach. Furthermore, their staff / management are lovely and always keep my water glass filled up when I order something spicy.

The assorted vegetable appetizer and saag paneer were inedibly salty. The owner wouldn’t taste it and tried to explain that it had to be like that or people complained it was bland. I had to demand he take the saag off the bill but he still charged for the appetizer.

Underrated Indian restaurant. Cool, almost pub-like vibe but clean, well sorted and a great, long bar adjoining comfortable seating with Bollywood films (subtitled) playing behind the good music. Food is traditional, delicious, and service is fast and friendly but not intrusive. Highly recommended.

Top notch Indian Food! We shared three different dishes and they were all wonderfully seasoned. We asked for HOT and it was HOT! Always a bonus when a restaurant will do that. They have a large beer selection with a few I've never ever heard of, too. Double bonus

A chill location with excellent food. My wife and I are vegans and we had the Chilli Pameer. It was super delicious. We will definitely be back.

Me and my boyfriend decided to try Flavor of India to celebrate my birthday, gotta say we are quite disappointed! After reading a fair amount of reviews and hearing decent things about this place we were excited to try it but it was overall really disappointing.

Our server was not very attentive and it felt like he only listened to half the things we said. My boyfriend had asked if an italian soda with white chocolate for a drink seemed like it would be good and our server did not have much to say. He made a face and said he was unsure if they had any of the flavor left and would go check, then walked away before we finished our order, he took about 10 minutes to come back to our table. He dropped the italian soda off, i ordered my drink then we tried the italian soda and it was nasty so my partner told our server, asked if he had any suggestions, to which he was like im not sure and mumbled something. In the end my partner was able to get the same drink as me, we both got a white peach lemonade, it tasted super sugary and was hard to drink but was drinkable after adding a fair amount of water. Our server maybe came to our table on his own 2-3 times after that, just to bring food and for us to pay.

The food took a bit to come out, we got appetizers and the presentation was very rough to look at, just like they had taken it out of the fryer and thrown it into a bowl. Appetizers were decent but its not hard to mess up fried food. When our entrees and naan came,, we were excited to try it. I got chicken saag and my partner got lamb curry, both of us got the garlic cheese naan. My chicken saag was okay, I’ve had way better at other Indian restaurants. The naan tasted like a microwaved cheese quesadilla. Despite getting right below the highest spice level, the lamb curry barely had any flavor and just tasted like bland spaghetti sauce. My partner had taken maybe like 3 bites of curry before wanting to trade it out for something else, our server didnt come to our table until my partner stopped him as he was walking by to ask if he could get a refund or switch out his dish. The manager came over and we had a chat with her, after that they ended up letting him take home a new dish.

Overall, a really disappointing experience with pretty mediocre food. We will probably stick to our usual Indian cuisine restaurant, Gurkhas, the service and food are way better and the ambiance of the restaurant is a lot more chill and not so all over the place. Cheaper too.
