The beignets are a must-try, with a lovely pillowy center and not too sweet, especially when enjoyed with coffee. The creamed spinach with shrimp and poached eggs served with grits is cooked very safely in the realms of flavor, and the poached eggs are perfect. The cafe also serves the Breakfast burrito, which is excellent, and their donuts are more like fried bread, equally delicious. The sausage gravy on the country fried steak is rich with a spicy kick, and the steak is very tender and fried to perfection. The blackened Salmon has great Cajun flavor, cooked just right, and Cajun home fries add extra zest. The complimentary biscuits are huge, buttery, crispy on the outside, and soft inside, quite satisfying. The decor and friendly service make the experience even better. Guests recommend bringing patience for seating but appreciate the staff's kindness, making for a relaxing and enjoyable meal with delicious food and a friendly atmosphere.
