“As a proud Peruvian, I was thrilled to discover that the Denver area has quite a few Peruvian restaurants. We drove over an hour from our hotel to Rosario’s, and let me tell you, it did not disappoint!!
The restaurant was clean and welcoming, and everyone made us feel at home right away. Our waitress was attentive, warm, and genuinely friendly. I knew exactly what I wanted before I even looked at the menu, but I'm so glad she encouraged us to try a few appetizers we might have otherwise skipped. The chicken wings were absolute perfection.
My extended family owns a Peruvian restaurant in New Jersey (here’s hoping they don’t find this review), and while they serve great classic Peruvian food, Rosario’s is on another level. The menu honors traditional Peruvian flavors while bringing a contemporary understanding and refinement to the dishes. The juices were fresh and refreshing, and the lomo saltado was, without question, the best lomo saltado I’ve had anywhere in the United States.
This place is absolutely worth the drive and worth taking a chance on. If I lived nearby, I would be here all the time. Highly recommended.
I wish I took photos but I was too busy eating one of the best meals.“
