I've been going to Pinocchio's for years. Food is always good, and the service is the best in town (love the girls that work there). Recently took a van load of visiting family for dinner. As we were getting out, a collection of people started to assemble at the corner. They seemed to be coming from somewhere behind the restaurant, around 12-15 people. These were not employees. One guy was barking out commands, a couple of guys were zipping around on BMX bikes. The situation...
Went to the Gondolier, waited over 5 mins and never even got seated-lucky us! We left and went to Pinocchio's and it was fabulous!! Terrific food, service and a nice quiet atmosphere!
The food was good, and the staff did ok. I would highly recommend reconsidering the live music played during the holidays. The musician tonight 12/23 was playing quickly and the songs were not joyous or jolly considering the season. We felt rushed and listening to someone play the Wreck of the Edmond Fitzgerald is not what I would consider a romantic or holiday tune.
