Red Cedar Bistro Reviews
Went here for the French Wine dinner-All 4 courses were beautifully presented and spectacular in taste. Wine was perfectly paired with each course. Went back a second time for brunch which was equally special and delicious. I highly recommend Red Cedar Bistro.
Excellent choices of tapas, main courses, and desserts... Owners are very personable!
Visited twice and will be going back again....Heard the menu is going to be changed for the fall season. Can't wait to try the new menu
Chef knows Mediteranean cuisine! If you know what that means, know you can find it right here in Longmont, no trip to Denver required. If you're not sure what that means, be courageous and go try it. I recommend the Felafel, the Hummus, Za'ataar and Mezze, Moroccan shrimp the Raviollo, and Gyro. One lovely thing about this place is you can do the tapas experience, ie order a few small plates and share them, or hog them ;) enjoy a few different items and feel satisfied. Red Cedar Bistro is a popular new restaurant in downtown Longmont, known for its exceptional, made-from-scratch food and friendly service. Diners praise the freshness and flavor of the Mediterranean Bowl and the Vegan Spanakopita. Popular dessert choices include the hazelnut chocolate truffle and the tiramisu. The menu features a variety of dishes like gyros, lamb bolognese, seafood crepes, bison masala with gnocchi, and Greek salad. The restaurant is highly accommodating to dietary restrictions, offering gluten-free options and being sensitive to the needs of vegetarians. They also have a good selection of beers and non-alcoholic mixed drinks. Red Cedar Bistro takes pride in sourcing ingredients locally whenever possible.
Recent reviews mention that the food is homemade with love, and the place provides a relaxed, not overly fancy atmosphere. Guests have enjoyed dishes like the steak frites and the branzino, with some finding the Iberian rice especially delightful. The old fashioned drink is noted as strong but not too sweet. The GF flatbread and baba ghanoush are popular choices for those with gluten sensitivities. While the food is generally praised for its flavor and quality, some customers feel the prices are a bit high for the type of food served. Overall, the restaurant offers good service and a welcoming environment, making it a place worth returning to for many.
