We eat at Sumo Restaurant at least twice a week, and it continues to be one of the best spots in Longmont for consistently great food and friendly service. The staff always make us feel welcome, and the quality never slips no matter how busy they are.

Today 02/05/2026, we went to this restaurant and I was really excited to try it. When we walked in, there were several waitresses standing at the entrance, but none of them greeted us.
The waitress who took us to our table did so with a very bad attitude. She placed the menus on a table located in the middle of the restaurant. Since I was with my one-year-old baby, I thought it would be better to sit at a table at the end of the restaurant so we wouldn’t inconvenience...read full review
We took a short drive to Longmont. I tagged along with a promise of a nice late lunch and some much needed miso soup. On a cold, dreary & cloudy day we found a gem, Sumo Sushi•Grill, what a treat. Outstanding service, great atmosphere and amazing food. Priced right for our Bento Box lunches. Teriyaki Chicken and Salmon, our newest favorite place to go, just 20 minutes due North! Give them a try, we highly recommend. Craving it…as I’m writing this. 🫖 🍱🍚🥟🥙🍜
