This was absolutely the worst barbecue I have had. Everything was so incredibly dry. It was rated very high on Facebook but it was nothing like the reviews or the ratings. The restaurant gave us extra brisket to take home but it too was very dry the ribs were dry and mediocre at best. The chicken tasted like it had been cooked very long very dry and Mealy . I would not recognize this restaurant to anyone

I got the rib tips and pulled pork for dinner togo. Gotta watch for bone and cartilage. Meats good. Tastes okay. Hot Sauce is tasty. Got beans and mashed for sides. Mashed had an aftertaste I didn't like. Beans were very bbq sause tasting. Compared to Abq bbq, it's okay. Kinda on the pricy side. Cornbread was good. Rudy's is better. Also had to park a distance away.

Ordered catering for our company event of 450 attendees, booking and communication the entire time was outstanding and very accommodating. The day of our Company BBQ, staff showed up promptly and with great attitudes and all smiles. They not only served up the amazing food, but helped out where they could which was beyond expected but much appreciated. Everyone at our event LOVED the food, and the staff that served us I would absolutely request over and over again. They did a fantastic job, and even though they were technically working they seemed to enjoy the atmosphere and music as they were laughing and randomly dancing which made it all that much more fun. =) BIG SHOUT OUT to these 3 amazing staff members and everyone at LULU's BBQ!!!

Our server Bri was amazing: she recommended the best food, the best drinks, and the best sides. You NEVER get service like this anymore, but Bri did it and made it look easy. ..and these days, good service is NOT easy. Go for the food, but I sure hope you get Bri as your server, as then you will realize this barbeque joint is unmatched anywhere within a few hundred miles. No kidding, this is REAL BBQ!

My review was 6 years old so I figured it was time for a new one. Lulu`s BBQ is some of the best in the state and luckily for me I live 2 miles away. The ribs are great, they are meaty and very flavorful. Their sausage is out of this world and they make it in house. Another thing they do super well is their turkey, some of my favorite turkey around. they also have brisket nachos which are some of the best nachos in town. Most of their meat is so good and tender that no extra sauce is needed. Service is friendly and quick with everyone taking care of you. 5 stars after all these years!

The food is great. The ribs and brisket, while smoked are lightly smoked so there is no bitterness that comes from over smoking. This was the second time I’ve had takeout from there and each time one small item was missing, this time it was cornbread which was a shame as their cornbread is fantastic. When doing takeout be sure to have 2 people go. One to drive and the other to pick up as parking is tight.

This place hits get the sampler take some home briskets banging, ribs are deli table sausage if it isn’t made in house is from a local purveyor and is on point. Grab a beer a beer with your meal and prepare walk this meal off around beautiful downtown
