Wanted to love this place. It’s cute and set up for success. We were the second table in the restaurant Saturday night - family of four. It took us 1.5 hours to get our main meal and we were served after people who came in later than us. The place was maybe 2/3 capacity so the timing issues are a big red flag.Food was good quality and waitress was also professional / thoughtful. This is a poorly managed place like what is noted in a lot of reviews below.
Sushi Yoshi is legit and authentic. I think you can judge a sushi restaurant by the quality of its rice - and Sushi Yoshi’s rice is to die for. They also have a few vegan options to choose from. The avocado & sundried tomato maki and the tofu pocket maki (w/o tamago) are my absolute favorites!! De-li-cious!!!
Incredible sushi! Generously portioned and the rice was insanely good. We did not experience any of the staffing issues that have been discussed in previous reviews, and we ate here on a summer, Saturday evening when things were hopping downtown — our waiter was very enjoyable! This is definitely an great place to treat yourself to a wonderful meal.
