Let me share our story with you. My wife and I purchased a cake for our wedding. The bakers agreed to decorate our cake and place it on a ceramic stand. We paid for delivery and the bakers agreed to decorate it with some vinyl flowers. We had also provided a generous tip on top of this in good faith. The night of the wedding, we were surprised to find that the cake was not decorated and not on the stand. We are talking simple decorations by the way, some flowers, plastic topper and the ceramic stand. There are conflicting statements between the coordinator and the decorator - but no one took ownership or attempted to contact us. When I had called the bakery this morning, I was met with hostility and the conversation escalated in to an argument. Fortunately, the baker did call back and apologize. And for that I will give two stars instead of one. But all we wanted was to feel heard and instead the accountability was met with deflection and excuses. I’m not angry, just disappointed. And it is my responsibility as a buyer to speak with my words and wallet. We will not be using this bakery again.

Very limited supply and variety. Extremely expensive! Sad!
We ordered a custom Paw Patrol cake for my son's 3rd Birthday and were not disappointed! The cake was exactly what we wanted, and they put so much care into making it special. It also tasted great! You can tell they use high quality ingredients. Thank you Buttermilk Bakery for making Birthday magic for my son!

Not impressed at all. Carrot cake seemed almost undercooked, instead of shredded carrots they used matchstick carrots which made for crunchy bites and for a bakery that charged $45 for this cake, it was a cheap shortcut to make. The frosting was way too thick, so thick that we couldn’t cut slices of cake without it completely collapsing. It may have been 3/4 of an inch thick. And it was topped with raw nuts, not even toasted. Based on that cake, I won’t be ordering anything else from here and cannot recommend.

I came in and got a few cake truffles. Eden helped me and answered any questions I had. She was so kind and friendly. It’s a cute little bakery. I highly recommend coming in.

I went to this bakery today for the first time. the bakery item was fine and my daughter liked her treat, but the customer service was disappointing. the lady behind the counter was very cold—no smile for me or even my child. it felt like she was annoyed that we were taking our time to look at the options. i wish she knew how much a friendly interaction can bring people back again and again, but because of this, i would not go back or recommend it to my friends. i choose small businesses over big chains because i value that human connection, but it felt just as impersonal here as a huge chain. it blows my mind that you wouldn't even say hi to a child; a friendly interaction is what actually makes me want to come back.

Called once to ask about ordering a cheesecake for my wife’s birthday but didn’t get an answer, so I figured I'd just ask in person. Big mistake. The staff was rude, and one employee told me very dismissively that I needed to pre-order, without offering to help or take my order. I just left. Won't be back. Can't recommend.

I contacted this bakery four days before a surprise party and asked for a 3D cake that looks like a beholder monster from dungeons and dragons. I was a little worried that it might be too weird for them to get right, but holy smokes, they did a great job. The folks who work here were nice and pleasant to work with. Cake was delicious, too.
Buttermilk Bakery came through for us in a pinch. We called them a week before our baby shower to see if they could make us a few dozen dino and shark sugar cookies. They fit us into the schedule and the cookies turned out amazing! They looked just like the inspo we sent them and tasted amazing. We highly recommend them!

I’ve had cheesecake many times from here and it’s amazing! It is definitely is a more rustic looking cheesecake. But when I asked about it the owner explained to me this is a basque style cheesecake Not like the processed ones you get at the grocery store. So it’s meant to be more rustic looking and I love it! Hands down my place to get my baked goods from.

Got the traditional cheesecake for my birthday and wow. I’m not lying when I say, this was the best cheesecake I’ve ever had. Not only was the cake great but so was the service. Super nice, friendly and all around amazing.
