I'm not really in the business of leaving reviews, but I've loved buttermilk pie my whole life and didn't expect the find the best one I've ever had in a Northern Colorado bakery. Cherish knows what she is doin' and driving past this place without stopping is a mistake.

I have ordered two cakes from this bakery and both were just not great. I decided to try it after reading the reviews, and took a chance. Both cakes had frosting that was grainy, tasted like it came out of a can. The lemon blueberry cake I got almost tasted salty, and there was hardly any lemon flavor to it and the blueberry was almost flavorless. Really strange flavor actually. The red velvet was a decent cake but this time the frosting which should have been a cream cheese frosting tasted like lemon, and a chemical kind of aftertaste. I absolutely love cake and frosting and I have to say I didn’t even want to eat another piece of either of these cakes. Very disappointing.

She did our cake and cupcakes for our wedding and they turned out perfect! They tasted so good and she came and set them all up before guests got there!

I had forgotten to order a cake for my birthday and most shops are closed on Sunday. Even though it was last minute they agreed to make my small 6" cake for me. I couldn't be more grateful. I ordered on Friday for pick up Sunday. It wad a miracle for me. Also, it was soooooo good. I highly recommend them.

We ordered a wedding cake for our April wedding. It was fantastic! We had requested a mountain motif and we were not disappointed. They specially designed the cake for us. Their team were amazing to work with, while planning a wedding cross country. Definitely recommend the lemon filling it was so tasty. Couldn't have asked for anything else. Our guests are still talking about the cake months after the wedding.

I ordered my husband's birthday cake from this bakery. I was looking for a cake with caramel and real buttercream, which is how the Creme Brulee cake is described. The frosting on the cake I received is not buttercream.

Butter and other real dairy products don't coat the mouth the way the icing on this cake does. Butter and other real dairy products also melt and dissolve away rapidly when exposed to hot water. The large amount of frosting we left on our plates remained intact and unchanged by the hot water after they were left to soak in the sink. Cheap oil-based frostings that come from the likes of low end grocery store bakeries behave that way.

I'm not happy that I paid for a higher quality baked good and received something made with what I assume is a highly-processed plant oil instead.

I chose this bakery based on the ratings/reviews and I wanted to support a local small business. The website didn't have a photo of their traditional, plain cheesecake, so I requested information ahead of ordering and based on the answers to my questions, placed the order. If I had to do it over again, I would request a photo of the product before I placed an order.The service was friendly and the traditional, plain cheesecake I requested for my partner's birthday was ready when promised. The 3 stars are for the flavor and texture of the traditional cheesecake.Otherwise, because of the overall quality, it gets a 1 star rating.I understand that everyone's preferences are different. Pros: The flavor and texture were good, similar to a NY style cheesecake. Cons: I wasn't looking for perfection, but I hoped for a cheesecake that looked professional. I was surprised by the appearance, which looked "rustic" and home baked. It wasn't a "smooth topped" traditional, bakery quality cheesecake. It was sunken, cracked, and there were dark, burnt looking areas on top (see photo). The crust was a thick, very hard "sugar bomb". In the future, I wouldn't order a cheesecake from this bakery.

I was in a pinch and needed a last minute cake and not only were they so kind on the phone, the cake they created was both beautiful AND delicious. I can’t wait to try everything else they offer and I will definitely go to them for any future cake needs I have

Incredible bakery. I purchased a key lime pie for my partner’s birthday, and I added a pork pot pie with green chile, online for pickup. It was ready when I arrived and both of the items were OUT OF THIS WORLD. I guarantee you’ve never had a key lime pie this good. I’m definitely ordering regularly from now on.

Parking: Just a few spots in front, but in a low density area overall.

3 words: Key. Lime. Pie.
The hunt for a Key Lime Pie for Father's day ended when I called Buttermilk as they were making 2. It seemed like fate! I reserved one over the phone to pickup later that day. My only regret is not buying both. The crust! The filling! I can't decide which is better and luckily, you won't have to because they come together. 10/10!

Called to get a birthday cake for my daughter’s 2nd birthday, pretty disappointed.
I ordered edible snowflakes for her cake (because we were pushing time and I didn’t want to count on a bakery having them last minute) and whoever I spoke with was snippy and saying “we make competitor cakes” when I said I didn’t know if snowflakes are something they’d have on hand and “I guess don’t pay us for what you already bought.” Clearly very insulted that I don’t know much about making cakes - hence, this is why I was hiring someone else.

Competition cakes, but ran out of frosting and decided to make the top tier of the cake pink on the inside when I expressed wanting all white for her Frozen party.

Shouldn’t have ordered from this place.

We had the most amazing birthday party here! It was Alice and Wonderland themed, and one of the bakers even dressed up as the Mad Hatter! She entertained our guests while remaining in character the whole time! Everything was decorated and set up with our theme in mind. We even had tea cup shaped cookies! I highly recommend this place to all families. You will not be disappointed!!!

My son absolutely LOVED his birthday cake! Look at this cake - it's ginormous, full of frosting, and decadent and IMHO, reasonably priced! They will accommodate special requests when possible - gluten-free/dairy-free, etc. Thank you for the excellent service and amazing cake! I can't believe I didn't know about your bakery before this and will definitely come visit often now!!!

Ordered the crème brûlée cheesecake for my husband’s birthday! It was so good we are going to order it for mine too!

I have used this bakery now for 3 different events!! The cakes are stunning and taste delicious! They are a work of art! Just had the key lime pie…. Best I have ever had!!
