We love the bean dip and chips. Their enchiladas are great in all ways and the fajitas are awesome! The kid's menu keeps my granddaughter happy ?.

Update, Have had poor service here before but gave them another try. Server brought a box for left overs but no tab. When trying to make our way to pay the bill, we were chastised for walking in the wrong area. I can guarantee that won't happen again because we will not be coming back. Have been back a few times and it has really good.

We have eaten at El Cielo many times and enjoyed it. We brought our 5 year old grandson. He had the chicken nuggets and got food poisoning. Ended up at the hospital. We won’t be back.

Being from Southern California and Arizona with great Mexican food, we have been on the search for a decent place in Northern Co. We tried El Cielo and were pleasantly surprised. Atmosphere is casual and not overdone in a south of the border theme. Service was acceptable for how busy they were. Drinks and Chips came out fast, our order took a bit but was fresh and hot when it arrived. We both had enchiladas with rice and beans. The red sauce had a nice flavor with some spice. The chicken was tender and nicely flavored with garlic and spices. Beans and rice were good. We will definitely be back to try some of the other menu items. I saw lots of fajitas, burritos and chimichangas coming out of the kitchen.

Love the salsa bar! They have about 5 unique, delicious salsa variations, ALL of which I enjoy! I especially like the gringo enchiladas and the rellenos (my favorite dish is to get one soft & one crispy). Green chili is good. Beans and rice are great, too. My hubby likes the burritos. Atmosphere is cheerful and clean. Staff is usually attentive and has always been polite.

I went in to get lunch. Sat down at the local bar, only three others in area, at the time. The bartender ignored me while visiting with others. She saw me, but did not offer a menu or anything. She walked away to other side of restaurant instead. That's when I walked out. Will never go there again.

what you see in the picture is the normal serving of ceviche. What I got served on my last visit and half that size. Ok, been here at least 20 times last year between take out and eating in. I always order the ceviche. So when the waitress brought the ceviche in a very small bowl I asked her about it. She told me that is the size they always serve and that she has worked there for 10 years. They sure charged me the same amount as the regular serving. Since that was a blatant lie I find myself writing this review. What she served me would not have even filled the container of the take out version, which is typically smaller than what they serve at the restaurant. Food is still good, just can't put up with this particular visit. I looked up other reviews and it looks like service can be hit or miss. If you are a manager of this place reading this quality control is important. And if the waitress who served us reads this you should be embarrassed at yourself
