If you're driving to Estes Park from points east, you're most likely going to go through Lyons. Make sure to stop in at the Lyons Dairy Bar. Hot dogs and burgers are way above par, fries are hot and not greasy or little fry fragments, not to mention excellent hard ice cream and one the best selections of candies you'll find anywhere. Great selection of English Cadbury chocolate! This is the perfect stop after a hike in Rocky Mountain National Park!!

French fry portions are large. My wife and I get two sandwiches but only one combo and it's plenty of food. A basic (about 1/3 pound, I think) burger is about $8. A burger combo is just over $11 with fries and a drink. Wife reports the BLT on sourdough is great.

This is a must stop spot in Lyons! One of the cutest ice cream shops in Colorado no doubt! I stop every time I’m going through town and I even sometimes drive out to Lyons just for this fun spot. The cherry ice cream is my favorite! This is also a candy shop and the candy selection is epic!

Waited a half hour and never got our one hot dog! Finally just left.
I’ve been here several times- so decided to stop today as I was passing through to get a milkshake, it was 12oz. I was charged $9.75. That seems outrageous to me. I loved this place but I can’t justify that.

Staff working didnt seem to know what they were doing. They couldn't even find a lid for a cup so I could get a fountain drink. Food tasted like it was frozen food. Nothing fresh about any of it.
