La Mariposa Mexican Restaurant Lyons is a classic place to go out to eat, with a great location that is nice and clean. The remodel and expanded menu is sure to please a variety of tastes, and the drink selection is impressive. The food is delicious; great for great food. The chicken fiesta salad was scrumdiddlyumptious with cooked moist crispy chicken, creamy soft cheese, fresh beautiful avocados, and crunchy flavorfull lettuce. The smothered crispy Chile Rellenos is a go-to dish. The Mexican corn ribs appetizer was the best. Servers are friendly and attentive. The positive energy from the server and manager made everything taste even better. The atmosphere was perfect. The best part is it’s across the street from a river for a walk before heading home. A must try.
