Delicious street tacos! Mezcal Margarita is my go-to drink. Food Truck and cantina drink prices are very reasonable. I've always received excellent + prompt service here no matter how busy. Friendly and attentive owners and staff. Love the outdoor seating options. One of my favorite places to meet up with the Locals. Reminds me of "Cheers". ❤️ Thank you, El Rio Cantina!

While vacationing in Mancos to visit friends.
We went there and loved it so much, went back a 2nd time! Food is delicious ?. Very reasonably priced. Atmosphere very chill & casual. Dogs allowed in outside eating area. Must stop & grab a bite.

I got food poisoning from food truck last night. Bar is entirely too loud for such a small area. The karaoke was awful. The drinks are overpriced. Doesn’t fit in well with the charm of mancos. People also smoking cigarettes on the patio.

Terrible food, will give you heart burn. Loud atmosphere and rude customer service. Avoid. Locals not happy about noise and continue to disregard noise complaints. Spend your money one elsewhere.

Great bar service and drinks. The food truck was a great treat, too. Will definitely come back.

I tried the margaritas, micheladas, and tacos. 10/10. The owners are very kind and attentive.

Really fun bar in Mancos, and more youthful and energetic atmosphere than other bars in the town. Fun weekly activities like karaoke, movie night and sports watch parties. Seating can be limited on busy nights—it's a pretty small bar. Staff is really friendly and personable.

I feel bad leaving one star for service because the bartender was a good guy and broke his butt to serve everyone. Unfortunately, the owner and his wife (I assume because they kept coming behind the bar) commandeered his time and attention because of the party they were part of. They could have helped him out, but didn’t. So, everyone else in the place had to wait. I hope they left him a great tip because he deserved one. They also tried to start some impromptu karaoke with a very load mic in a very small space. They should have just closed the place for their party. I’m a local and I doubt I’ll go back.

Jonah and Fancy did an amazing job turning what used to be a stale vacant lot into a thriving community hub and beautiful indoor/outdoor bar. Always friendly service, good vibes, and high quality drinks. El Rio Cantina is the only establishment open past 9 or 10pm and we appreciate them filling that much needed niche! To the negative review saying it was too loud one night- people used to bring horses into the old Columbine Bar across the street and sadly those days are gone. Downtown is downtown, let us let our hair down. El Rio brings a little bit of that old Mancos flavor back.

This place is great…if you’re a drunk local. We walked in and the woman behind the bar, and the drunk locals stared at us. She did not greet us or provide any assistance to order a drink. Go Coors Light!

Flagrant disregard for the town's quiet hours. Outside sound system blaring music and patrons caring on until midnight. At one point, an employee got into his customized low rider and put on a show by bouncing the car up and down in the parking lot. There is a senior care home and two tourist lodgings next to the bar. At the very least, the outside music could of been turned off and everyone could of went inside. What do they expect when they open a business on a residential street? Clearly they think they can do what ever they want.
