Best food we had in Manitou Springs by a wide margin. Recommend the gnocchi for an appetizer. It’s fine dining, but I felt comfortable in jeans and a polo. Our waitress was great as well!

We were one of three tables there at 2pm on a Monday and it took an hour to get our food which was a salad, mozzarella sticks, and one burger. Food was fine but just very disappointed in the service.

Always a favorite when we are in the area. We love to have lunch on the porch except on the coldest days. The staff are great and the food is as well.

We stayed in the hotel and had dinner here on our first night.
I had the elk chops and she had the chicken coq au vin. Both were excellently cooked and presented. The sauces and vegetables with both were also very nice
The service was formal and very well done. I can't say enough about how hard the two gentlemen worked that evening making sure all guests were attended and in want of nothing. We spoke to these two several times during our stay, they were friendly, professional and hard working all three days of our stay.
Great restaurant with some nice local selections.

Great food, good atmosphere but our food took forever. Very very long!

I stopped in on a weekday for lunch from out of town at an odd hour (2:30) and the kitchen and hotel staff were very accommodating. The food was good but the hotel is way cool with an intriguing history.

Solid food choices while staying in Manitou. We had the breakfast vouchers, which are a great value. Their breakfast food is excellent. We also enjoyed dinner and their $20 Prime dinner special was a great value. My mom had the Coq Au Vin and loved it. The rich history is also worth diving into with both contemporary and classic guests over America's rich history.

We stopped in for a quick cocktail before we headed back to Colorado Springs. We tried the smoked Old Fashioned and it was amazing. Great atmosphere and the food menu looked amazing. Hoping to come back & stay at the hotel & enjoy a full dinner here.

Our entrees & dessert were very good! I had the pork chop & my husband had the Scallops. Both were great. The reason(s) I didn't give 5 stars: we had a reservation & arrived a couple of minutes before our reservation time to be told there would be a very long wait and we could either sit in the lobby of the hotel (brightly lit and alone right by the entrance and check-in) or sit outside. I asked to take a look at the tables outside. We were walked to the front patio & there were tower heaters & fire pit tables but none of them were lit. This was 7:30 at night on October 5th. Granted it was unseasonably warm, but still not necessarily comfortable. I said if we sit out here, can we have the heater turned on and the hostess said certainly and promptly sat us at a fire pit table right next to a tower heater. Neither our fire pit table nor the tower heater were ever turned on for the duration of our dinner. Our service was very slow, which I don't believe was our waiter's fault as he had quite a long walk to the front porch of the building from the main dining room where I'm sure he was also waiting on tables. We ordered the Caesar salad to get started & it was brought out with literally no dressing. I don't mean a light dressing I mean zero dressing. We sat there for probably 15 minutes before flagging down a different server as we still hadn't seen ours come back, to ask for some dressing for our salad. Once we had our dressing, the salad was enjoyable. I overheard another couple that was also escorted to the patio who had management get involved because they had made a reservation 10 days prior and also been told the same thing we were told that it would be a very long wait & that they could sit outside or wait. They weren't dressed as warmly as we were so they did not last long outside & management did accommodate them at an inside table after she threw a bit of a fit. So just note that because you have a reservation doesn't necessarily mean you do?‍♀️
