This place is taking advantage of tourism with higher than ever prices and downsizing the amount and quality . Apple pie avalanche used to have a hole slice of pie . Now it's a fraction of what it used to be . And I have been going to this establishment for many years .
Now that there are new owners . This place is overpriced and low quality than it was before . I will not be stopping by anymore . Good luck to Price gouging tourists . Because locals do not appreciate this place anymore

The apple pie custard is very very good, we had to go back for another. The owner is very funny and welcoming. He tells jokes when you leave a tip. I would come back for sure!

I ordered an absolutely delicious frontier split, which was the best ice cream i have ever had (granted I haven't been to an absurd amount of places) and was very pleased with the speed at which the dish was brought out. Their cookie dough was incredibly fresh and delicious, but not overly sweet, the banana was perfectly ripe, the fudge was warm, and the ice cream was incredibly well flavored. There was seating where we could relax, and i loved the tree providing shade next to the seats and tables. I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone looking for some refreshments on a hot day (or any other day, really)
