We were visiting Manitou Springs and thought we’d try out a local and historic bar. It was the middle of the day and we each ordered a beer. The bar was cool and obviously old, but the local patrons do NOT want tourists in their sacred space. The guy sitting next to us complained to the bartender that “It’s not even ‘f’ing’ tourist season but they keep coming in!” It was awkward and we couldn’t wait to get out of there. Save your money. They don’t want it.

If you're a tourist, stay away. They don't (and I quote) want "f'ing tourists here." This was the conversation I overheard between a rough looking patron and the bartender. Ok. We will leave and take our money with us. Stay far far away.

Poor service did not acknowledge us took us several minutes to ask for a check then we had to ask for a check and was rudely told cash only atm was behind us. I paid and left as we only have a glass of wine and a beer. When we walked back later past the bar the bartender was standing out said and made several comments to us about she will holding a grudge and said that if we wanted better service we should have tipped and kept talking as we were walking away. Very unfriendly and unprofessional staff will not be returning and not recommending this place to anyone.

Don’t give the bartender a card to start a tab (even if she asks you for one). They’ll lose it and blame it on you because “that’s not what we normally do”, instead of blaming it on the bartender that asked for a card and lost it.“It’s not our responsibility”. They found it under the register eventually, after being rude the entire time they were looking. I’ve been a bartender most of my life, and have frequented this place many times over the years. Never again.

Really bad service. We went on Christmas as we had to work and wanted a drink after. Wished we would have stayed home. Overpriced and terrible service.

The bartender Jess is trash. I’m a local and I’ll never come in on her shift again. She is truly an embarrassment to your establishment. Adrienne, Tasha, Eric and the other gal are AMAZING and I’ve always had pleasant experiences with them.

The only pool table in Manatou Springs. Smoking area with drinks allowed on the patio. Best drink prices in the town. Food is 3 types of pizzas and bags of chips. If you visit the the place during 6pm - 2am on Friday - Monday, Adrian is an outstanding bartender.

This will be a short and simple review myself and my husband along with some friends came in for a quick drink and were in and out so fast, kind of ended our night of fun. The bar is cash only, the service fast and friendly enough. The place itself is on the smaller side, but it's pretty fantastic. With the prices for the drinks, I really think this might be a regular spot for us when we go down to manitou.

Lived here all my life. Staple to go here. Never ever have I felt so degraded as I did today. Took friends, I open carry its my right, was told to leave no sign saying I couldn't as I do respect them.I was not consuming, hell wasn't given the chance. To walk your sidearm back could be a mile or more in manitou. Bit not posted, never would went in had I known. The bar keep was so rude about it. Never ever will I go back and I am a true local of 45 years and never ever will I!!

This is a dive bar and they uphold that moniker quite proudly. I am not saying this to be mean; I’m saying it because they are proud of what they are and they make no qualms about it. It’s a very small bar that serves great, inexpensive drinks, especially inexpensive compared to the $15 drinks you’ll find just down the street. So, take it for what it is and be glad the bartenders scrutinize you if you order some fru-fru concoction that takes more than 20 secs to make. And don’t forget to tip well!

This is my local bar. The best dive bar in Manitou Springs. No food, but they have the cheapest alcohol in town. It's the gathering place for all of us hard working tradesman.
