Taste like it's cooked in a country kitchen, it's fantastic! For only $10 you can get a full breakfast with a drink, and it's all country style... unbeatable

The food was absolutely delicious!! Feels very welcoming and warm. The gentlemen sat us, served us, and I believe also cooked our meal. Wonderful guy and an amazing spot for a yummy meal!
Dirty table clothes under the plastic top. Chairs are nasty and all worn. Food was not good at all. No wonder we were the only ones in there.

Over from the UK and this was exactly the sort of place I had hoped to find. You could walk past this place as it looks a little scruffy but when we read the menu we knew we had to eat there. Meat loaf and chilli were excellent our friends had the quiche and salad. Friendly service from the owner/cook who was a real character. Couldn’t resist the buttermilk pie either berries.

I was jonesing for pancakes while out and about this morning. They have cast iron chocolate chip pancakes! Uh, Yes please! Ordered bacon ? & a scrambled egg with coffee ☕️
If you’re looking for elegance, this isn’t your place, but if you want some old fashioned homemade food, in a very casual environment give it a try.
If you’re a person that goes by the “look” of foods-visit their website. Plenty of pictures! Their chili looks delish! Now tell me that my breakfast doesn’t look delish! ?

The owner was very kind and made fresh tea and gravy for my husband's biscuits and gravy he ordered. The buttermilk berry pie was the special dessert for the day and it was amazing!

Our family visited for breakfast and it was amazing. We arrived just after opening and the owner gave us a heads up that it would be about at 25min wait (he was the only one working the kitchen). I’m so glad we stuck around. Food was amazing, service was amazing, atmosphere was amazing!

What a wonderful Little place. I don’t recommend on a super hot day because it seems they don’t have air conditioning. It’s a very old building so it’s understandable but the decor is simple and it feels like you are just in someone’s house. Lol
We ordered the quiche and the traditional breakfast. The eggs were cooked perfectly, the quiches was a bit small but perfect for a light lunch (which was what we were going for), the sausage Patties are hand formed and very savory.
The iced sweet tea was perfectly balanced.
The owner was our server and he was so very kind and accommodating. Checked on us often and was insistent on everything being perfect.
We sat by the window so we could see Manitou life as we ate.
Such a nice little visit.

Stopped in on the 4th of July right at open after hiking The Incline. Atmosphere was nice and peaceful. Breakfast food was amazing. Service was being ran by a 1 man show and he didn't miss a beat. Great place to grab a bite or multiple.

Looks cute and sounds good. It was terrible. A one man show so service was very slow. He seemed and smelled drunk and seemed like he was going to fall over. Got two of our orders completely wrong. My mom ordered an egg salad sandwich with fruit. She got fried eggs, sausage and fruit. The fruit tasted fermented and he did refund us $5 for the bad fruit. He brought the egg salad sandwich which wasn’t mixed together well and basically sliced hard boiled eggs on bread. I ordered an omelette with mushrooms and avocado. I got an omelette with red and green peppers. When I told him it was wrong and what it should be, he asked me rudely what I wanted and I said I wanted mushrooms and avocados so he brought me a small bowl with them in it. Didn’t bother to offer to remake the omelette. I probably would not have had him remake it if he asked because we had already been there for so long but an offer would have been nice. I hate peppers so picked at the eggs. The biscuit was dry and tasteless. Mushrooms did not taste right and avocados were a little dried out. My kids ordered pancakes and a quesadilla which they did eat and liked them ok. Would not recommend. Not worth the $60.
