Get away from chains with this little diner. Food is good. Meatloaf and greens seasoned well. Bitcoin accepted.

My friends and I went to the Kitchen for lunch and were extremely disappointed.1. The waitress was brand new and had absolutely no training about the menu, specialty items or how to serve. 2. As we were leaving, we saw the waitress wipe her snoty nose on her sleeve....3. The food wasn't ready at the same time. Two of us ordered the same thing and our dishes arrived about 10 minutes apart. I also ordered a salad and was not given a choice of salad dressing. When I asked, I was told that they only have Ranch...4. The bottoms of our sandwiches were so soggy that you couldn't pick them up.5. The food was terrible. The pooled pulled pork had no flavor, and the meat texture felt like it was from a can.6. The bathroom and the area outside were in bad shape. There was a pipe running from the water heater across the floor.I wish I had taken photos...

Please avoid at all costs!! DO NOT DO IT! I promise, you will regret it! I thought this place was gonna be awesome because I saw a picture of the pancakes. But let me tell you, it was NOT WORTH IT. I usually don't leave reviews, but I had to for this one. The service was horrendous, the guy who took our order kept saying he had to go do the dishes. It seemed like he was put out that we were even there. The place looked cute but upon closer look, was actually really dirty. The waters had dirt floating around in them, the silverware had dried scrambled eggs all over it and there were a few pieces of long, blonde hair in my food. And the biscuits were dry and tasted like pure cornmeal as did the potatoes. Please do not waste your time or money, especially if you are a POC-you will be so sad. Go to Persephone Greys down the street, that's where I should have gone. :(

This is the coziest place in the area. I'm So glad I finally got to try it after trying to find parking on a Sunday for 35 minutes. It was worth it. I will definitely be back real soon. I had the best fried chicken of my life there. Super awesome music and the cook was amazing. All around loved the experience. Thank you.

Would not return. Don’t recommend at all. We ordered the biscuits and gravy’s - it looked like it was put in a blender and placed on a plate. We also thought we saw a hair. The bacon and bread wasn’t bad but the eggs were burnt. Pretty sure the server/owner was drunk , he was friendly but the service was slow and hygiene was questionable. Save your money and go somewhere else.

Smells like an ashtray but for some reason I still sat down at a table that was offered to me as “maybe clean but I probably did not clean it” by the owner. Soggy water soaked biscuits and gravy were brought with watery flour clumped ‘gravy’ with a garnish of partially brown shriveled green onions. Breakfast burrito tortilla was burnt to a crisp. Was too afraid not to choke it down due to the drunk owner / host / waiter. Just keep walking, not worth the possibility of food poisoning.

I was really excited to try this cute little diner, but I would not recommend it to literally anyone and will never go back. After being seated it took 15 minutes for the waitress to even acknowledge us despite aimlessly walking around multiple times to empty tables and then wandering back to the kitchen. We ordered 2 basic items off the menu, expecting it to be the same wait time as somewhere like Cracker Barrel. My spouse was served their orange juice 10 minutes after ordering. I was given a glass of water 20 minutes after ordering and had to ask twice. In total we waited probably 30 minutes for food that never came. 25 minutes in to the wait the same waitress came back and asked if we were ready to order. We informed her we ordered about 25 minutes ago and asked if our order was even placed. She said she would check and then we never heard back. At the 30 minute mark after I noticed bits of food and other debris floating in my glass of water. We ended up leaving, and at 30 minutes in our eggs and bacon and biscuits were still not even being prepared. There was a total of maybe 10 other people waiting, and the tables beside us seemed to have similar issues. One table was never even attended in the 30 minutes we waited outside of a cup of coffee which was never given to them while we were there. The other table a couple had only received one of the meals, the husband had waited over 30 minutes for his. They had been there before we had arrived waiting. One of the servers was extremely rude and scattered and the other was very nice, but we could hear occasional yelling and arguing behind us in the kitchen. Additionally, the bathroom was very gross looking. Having grown up in the deep country, this bathroom reminded me of the backwoods gas stations that you only go to if you desperately have no other choice. The soap was watered down and there is only a thin latch on the door which could easily be ripped off; in fact, while I was in the restroom a man kept trying to pull on the door to enter since there's only one. It felt unsafe and dirty. The table cloths had brown stains on them and clearly haven't been cleaned properly in a while. The windows we sat next to had cobwebs and dead bugs. We entered this establishment with high hopes since it was in Manitou Springs and is cute from the outside, but we will never return again. Having worked in the food industry myself I understand being short staffed, but the overall experience was absolutely ridiculous.

Probably the worst service I have ever had. We waited for 20 minutes to be spoken to, then another 3 minutes. Finally got a water and OJ and the glasses were filthy. Our waitress (Jodie I think) was extremely rude. Cobwebs everywhere, whole place was dirty… after almost an hour we just left. Never got our very simple breakfast order.Definitely will not bother coming back! Their bathroom was disgusting too.
