The Loop is a Manitou landmark I had the pleasure of celebrating a friend's birthday with yesterday. Our host, Grace, was amazing, attentive and had us laughing during every interaction. The vibe is like no other place nearby. Definitely worth going!

This place is amazing! Food was super delicious and the service so really great! The margaritas tasted amazing and our server so very attentive and a couple other people also made our experience really great. Definitely recommend. They have the best carne asada plate I’ve ever had in Colorado.Vegetarian options: Most dishes seem modifiable.

While visiting, I came to The Loop. The hostess was really nice, but after sitting down for 30 minutes, our server was helping two other tables who had food already and totally disregarded my family seated right next to them. Never got drinks or was even acknowledged after that. I would understand if they were busy, but there were only four other tables and they all already had food. Pretty disappointed. The floors were absolutely disgusting.

Walked in and was seated. Was given water with no straw. Chips and salsa followed. So far no problem. My daughter and I looked at the menu and decided what we both wanted. The waiter came and took our order. We ordered 2 plates, one 2 cheese and onion enchiladas with beans and rice. The other was shredded beef taco and chili relleno with chicken, rice and beans. When we recieved the plates of food, I was suspicious of the sauce. I could not believe how bad the food was. It tasted like the sauce was closer to pizza sauce. I didn't taste any chili powder in the sauce. The chili relleno was suppose to be served whole but it came cut up with no chicken. It looked like it was cut up for a toddler. The only thing worth eating, was the taco, beans and chips. My dog would not eat this. It breaks my heart that the Loop has fallen down. It use to be a great place to eat. NOT ANYMORE! Save your time and money.

Again, the food was delicious. Our concern is their greed. They now add 3.4% to your total bill if you use a credit card. This was explained on the original bill (you just have to look for that small note). What was NOT EXPLAINED - They added a "Rounding Adjustment". For us it was 2 cents. What is a Rounding Adjustment? Just a nice way to say "added Profit"? We are used to the high prices of eating out but don't need the sneaky additional charges. Definitely will think twice about eating there again.
