First time back here in 15 years and I'm thrilled to say that nothing has changed. We livevthis place!
Been going to the Minturn CC for 20+ years. Always the same. Love the old style salad bar, and of course grill your own steaks. Next time, my wife and I might try the filet mignon.
Minturn Country Club is always fun. 1st time back in too many years and my wife and I got to share the experience with my son. Aside from the bite of inflation since we last stood over the lava grills, it was great! Thank you.
This would be a great place to come with a group. There were only a few people there when we dined. The service was great! We enjoyed the quiet but it would be fun with more people.
Experience was good; we will go back. We have never been to a “cook your own steak” restaurant. Disappointed in the salad bar; there could have been so many more options for garnishes. Sides to accompany the proteins were very good. I would suggest that a cocktail menu accompany the wine list at the start.
Place was empty - very dingy inside & outside looks neglected- the quality of the steak didn't seem to match the price and sides were awful
This place is great, my entire family frequents the restaurant at least two or three times a year for a reunion. Cool atmosphere, the bar is fun and the owner is super nice. Cooking your steak on the grill is fun and unique. It is conveniently located in Minturn, definitely should check it out!

This is a grill your own steak place. Although they have other offerings. The steak includes a salad bar with other sides available at extra cost. Not to be missed is the Minturn Tater. It is an ice cream confection. Ask you wait person for details.

Such a nice little find in a quaint little town. Small town atmosphere and everyone was so nice and polite. The steaks were amazing and the salad bar just as nice! Really enjoyed cooking the steaks ourselves and marinating them ourselves. I highly recommend the experience.

I rarely leave reviews but I’m sick the $ we spent for horrible food & service. WAY over priced. You cook your own meat great concept but the cut of meat was awful . We had filet & ribeye . Twice baked potato dry & awful flavor ,asparagus chemical sour taste shrimp cocktail slimy . Waitress should have noticed when we didn’t eat much no ask or offer to remove cost of sides. It appears your sides are included with your meat NO $8 for potato $9 for asparagus. Where I sat I stared at bottles of cleaning products pine sol window cleaner dirty rags . Our fault we should have left after walking in .

Pros:
- The sides of fries, sweet potato fries, and onions rings were good
Cons:
- Prices were not listed anywhere except for steak prices at the butcher shop so we were not clear how much we were spending
- Sides were $8-10 each
- Steaks were $40-50 each
- Soft drinks were $3.50-4 each but did not include free refills so we had to pay for each refill which was not clear upfront
- One glass of wine was $14
- We paid over $200 for 2 adults and 2 kids only because we shared two steaks between 4 of us
- The steaks were okay but not great
- The service was not very friendly or attentive
- The atmosphere feels old and dirty
- Overall we felt ripped off and like they took advantage of us because we were tourists

Awesome food, great atmosphere, solid service. Great value too vs everything in Vail Valley. Anyone fussing about how bad this place either A) doesn’t know how to cook steak or B) should just eat sushi in Aspen.

I’m so sad to write a negative review but this place was terrible. For the price and the value it’s just so sad to say this does not make sense. The quality of meat is sub par. We got all different cuts for our 9 top group and only one person was happy their strip steak choice. Aka, me. The sides were Cold and not great to say the least. The only thing tasty was the truffle fries. The asparagus was a criminal act. Criminal. Tasted like poison. I’m sad to write this but it needs to be shared that this place is not at all worth its price. Our autograted check was $550 and sadly ate less than an 1/8 of our food.
