The only reason this place is so awesome is- there aren't a lot of great places up here. I think the altitude affects taste, tbh. But the people here are friendly and welcoming, they have vegetarian options, the food is solidly and consistently good, and I love the vibe of the place overall. The sauces are not amazing. They're ok. I tried them all. The hot sauce is just hot without a lot of flavor but, once again, could be the altitude which definitely affects how things taste. They are the best place around for sure. I love stopping here whenever I get the chance. The skateboards are fun to look at, and I love the sticker selection. I would bring friends here for sure, definitely recommend!

Rocky Mountain Taco in Miniturn is a great place to stop off and get a quick bite. We were just getting into town for a week of skiing. We pulled up about 30 minutes before they closed. Walked in and there was no line. We ordered at the counter, took a seat, and our food was done within about 5-10 minutes. The chips were crispy, and the food was hot. This is a self-serve restaurant with a fountain machine, salsa and sauces out and available. It was the end of the day, and the place was mostly clean. The bathrooms weren't terrible and the staff seemed pleasant. I would go back to Rocky Mountain Taco in Miniturn again if and when I am in the area.

The BEST tacos, burgers, tortas, burritos, bowls, fríes in the entire Vail Valley. Have loved the food 10+ times, at their various locations (food truck in Avon for the tacos menu for example, is amazing….) & now including the Minturn main Restaurant location today!!!
If you want a delicious meal go here!!! Vegetarian? Get the Hippie.
The cuban torta was incredible!!! Smoked ham, onions, pickles, mustard and swiss cheese were perfectly portioned! Absolutely delicious.
