The food wasn’t bad, especially for sushi in the middle of the mountains, but the owner came across as very rude in how he interacted with his employees. I really want to love this place, but it’s hard to support when staff are treated with disrespect despite working hard and doing a good job. The restaurant atmosphere was quiet but the manager yelling at his employees took away from the atmosphere.
We stopped by on a whim just driving through town. The staff was so polite and courteous! We ended up getting steamed dumpling, tuna tataki, Montrose roll and sexy girl roll. All of the items were beyond our expectations! So fresh, hot and absolutely delicious! Will be returning!!!

I do wish there were a few more vegetarian options (sushi), but that’s fairly common for the area. Overall, dependable quality, friendly service, and a solid choice for lunch.
