Decided to try this diner before we drove to Colorado Springs. Glad we did as the food was delicious. Staff was great. Another restaurant with a huge menu and everything is homemade. Diners are the best, I\nWe try to stay away from chains
Coffee - $3.79! Coffee cup sizes small -- mine was @ 6 oz size. When asked why the cup was so small, waitress shrugged & said, "That's the way they are." Had to keep asking for refills, which were always a smidge over 1/2 the cup. When asked to fill it, please, smart-alecky waitress poured it over the top & then gave a napkin to me to wipe the table. Low class. The biscuits are much smaller, and not as good - tasted like baking soda. Place has gone downhill....
Food and service were great, but we left feeling we d been scHAMMed. Bacon was listed as $3 for a side. Three of us ordered pancakes and asked for a side of bacon each. When the bill came we'd been charged $27 for the bacon! When you add on the 18% tip that comes to a lot of money for a few strips of bacon!?!
