Scott closed the bar and let us use his place for the rehearsal dinner for our son’s wedding. It couldn’t have been a more perfect place. The atmosphere and decor are warm and inviting, and he and Julie make a perfect team! They went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed, which was especially appreciated because I had to plan everything from out of state. Jimmers BBQ catered the food and it all made for a wonderful evening for friends and family to enjoy the time together. I’d rate it at 10 stars if I could!

We enjoyed the atmosphere at the Wild Horse on a Thursday. Not as busy as Friday and Saturdays. We enjoyed our charcuterie board (limited menu) and while Chuck enjoyed his local beer; I enjoyed two old fashions. One with a high-end local bourbon and the other was a top shelf bourbon but this one was smoked tableside. Will be back this upcoming weekend. Our new favorite place for drinks. Hoping in the future they will have a whiskey and cigar club upstairs. Thank you Scott & Juli.

What a great find in Montrose! We stopped in on a friend’s suggestion late on a weekday. Scott, the owner, shared some of the unique whiskey options they have in stock. The atmosphere is cozy, the service is friendly. It will be a great spot to stop in during the winter for an old fashioned sitting by the fire. We will be back, and next time at an earlier hour!
