I’m not one to usually write reviews but I had the most unpleasant experience at this coffee shop. I had to witness one of the owners make a complete fool out of themselves. Two customers (a couple) were enjoying their Sunday morning together, when the owner abruptly and rudely kicked them out. The girl had bought a coffee from this place. She was a paying customer!!! I was there that morning, the owner is now trying to make up her own story of how things went down that morning. Why don’t you go look back at your security cameras to refresh your memory of how it ACTUALLY went down. The couple was just trying to enjoy their Sunday morning, they meant no harm in anything. The worst part of it all is that even after the owner found out the male is an active military member, she still continued (and continues - see the owners response to one of the reviews) to treat him with disrespect. It’s sad because I actually did enjoy my coffee I bought from them but after this experience this whole place left a bad taste in my mouth. What a shame.

If you’re going for the coffee, this is your place. However, if you are going for the vibe and the atmosphere, I don’t recommend. And if you’re planning on taking your time to sit down and enjoy your day, don’t… it’s apparently not appreciated when you stay for more than 30 minutes.

Manager forced a paying customer to leave simply because her fiancé, who accompanied her, did not make a purchase. I’ve never encountered a coffee shop that turns away paying customers because someone in their group didn’t order. I strongly believe this was discrimination against the young man due to his race, especially after management’s comments about the shop not being a “community center where you get handouts”. This behavior is disgraceful. I won’t be returning to this coffee shop…

Given the reviews I do believe they have decent coffee and food but that is not all that makes a coffee shop. The most important thing in ANY business is how you treat your customers. This place would get a zero. I sincerely hope you guys learn to love others. I will never step foot in here no matter how “good” it is.

Management turned out a paying costumer just because her fiancée who was with her did not purchase something as well. I have never been to a coffee shop that turned away a paying costumer because one member of the group did not order something and I strongly believe this was discrimination against the young man because of the color of his skin due to the comments management made about the coffee shop not being a “community center”. Disgusting behavior by this coffee shop. I will lot be going there in the future.

ABSOLUTELY DO NOT GO TO FORGE COFFEE LAB. My fiancé and I went here, I bought a latte, and he was with me studying, but did not buy a drink. We were both respectfully in the coffee shop studying and working. My fiancé was on the phone and I asked for the wifi passcode. The owner then asked if my fiancé was buying something, and I said I was not sure. The owner then came to my fiancé and I and started yelling saying that my fiancé needed to buy something and said we were no longer welcome because he brought a small yogurt as a snack. She said it didn’t matter that I bought something from them and we both needed to leave. This owner was racially charged, explaining that this was not a community center and that my fiancé was taking away from the small business. My fiancé and I were very calm, and packed up. As we were, the owner then announced to the whole shop that this is why we were not welcome, EVEN THOUGH i bought a drink from this shop. My fiancé is an active member of the military and explained that this is not how this community should be treating military members. The owner then still said this is not how you treat small businesses, still yelling at us as we left. We were very respectful through it, but none the less, DO NOT COME TO THIS SHOP. the owners are VERY disrespectful and racist towards my fiancé. If you care about the military and those who are marginalized, DO NOT SUPPORT this shop.

Not impressed. Been a few times just to be fair. Coffee was ok but nothing to rave about.
Service is ok but never greeted any of the times I was there
Music playlist was awful.

I have to be honest - not my favorite coffee. When I try a new coffee shop, I always order an Americano with no milk and an extra shot of espresso. That way I can really get a true taste of the coffee. It had a very sour aftertaste which I personally do not like, but that is definitely my opinion. The facility is extremely neat but certainly on a cozy coffee shop.

I’m never disappointed when I go to Forge. AMAZING coffee and the most knowledgeable, creative and sweet owners you can imagine. And if you ah ent tried their seasonal lattes, you’re missing out BIG TIME! My favorite is the half sweet eggnog latte with a “zhuzh” (Robin’s official term) of gingerbread. Thank you for being AWESOME!

Coffee was good. For sure a pour over speciality shop that even has a siphon. Very neat to see and rare.

Came back a year later and sadly the taste has diminished. Tasted burnt and not the same as we remember. Oat milk was $1 up charge which is way too much.

Lovely small coffee shop. First time I've stopped here. Would certainly return if I'm ever in the area again.

We like to check out local coffee shops, and this was a great first time here! Ordered an Americano (got the “Stout” version with an extra shot), double cappuccino with almond milk, quiche, and almond croissant. Nice to have some different food options. Friendly service, nice simple decor and atmosphere, plenty of seating plus a clear view of the mountains. Will definitely be back for weekly visits.
