The food was all over the place. They overcooked the shrimp and the steak that ordered from their lunch menu. I ordered fried rice with onions and eggs and I got plain rice instead. I know what miso soup tastes like, and it’s definitely not warmed sea water. It’s ridiculously expensive for a hot mess express.

Food was excellent as we enjoyed some fresh appetizers and main dishes. One of had the steak and chicken hibachi meal while I had the tropical fried rice.We are looking forward to coming back for the actual hibachi experience at one of the grills, but the dish (not made in front of us) was great. The fried rice was was full of shrimp, chicken and pineapple. All seasoned with curry. It was pretty spicy for requesting mild, but it was delicious. The seating area is a little dated and could use some TLC along with the entrance. Was surprised because they had been closed for remodeling, but this may have been for the kitchen area. All in all, I recommend this place as a solid choice for Asian cuisine.Prices were ok. Not crazy high or in the great deal spectrum. The fried rice dish was enough for 2 meals. This also is a good carry out option and that seemed to cover most of their business on our early Sunday lunch visit.

Food was great! Hibachi appetizers (salads and miso soup) were very good. The entree, fried rice, and udon were also very good and our waitress was very attentive to our needs, giving us refills often and checking up on us without us needing to ask. When the waitress was unavailable the other staff took care of us and the owner was very nice.

It was weird watching the musical chairs. They had people moving in the middle of their dinner. They wanted me to move to a table and I was paying my bill. Doesn’t seem they have real good organization skills. I won’t be going back.

The food was ok but the service was terrible! The floor was filthy when we walked in and when we sat down at the hibachi table, my hubby's chair was full of crumbs. While he went to the restroom, I asked a lady if she could please clean it and she came by with her hand and brushed the crumbs on the floor. When we asked a young man who was setting another table to get us a fork since my hubby did not have one, he took it from another plate and threw it on his plate very rudely.

The food is just ok. Lacked flavor.. menu is limited from other places visited. Service was good, the waitress was prompt at fill any requests. The restaurant nothing glamorous but is quiet so you can have a nice conversation with your party.

I've lived in monument for years and very sparingly attend this restaurant. Before COVID, their food actually used to be pretty good and the sushi decent.... Now I won't order sushi from here at all. I tried ordering pad Thai recently and the chicken was so off you could smell it even after it was cooked. I refused to eat it and focused on other parts of my meal. In my opinion dining in is much better than ordering take out here... But don't rely on this location as a go to sushi spot or for the advertised Thai dishes. There's much better options nearby. I really hate to give bad reviews and actually never do, so this is saddening for me to report.

We have been going here since they opened, probably 15yrs ago. We've usually have a good experience, but last night was atrocious! We had family from out of state and a party of 8, so we took a whole hibachi table. The other tables around us has the great cooks, putting on the show and doing everything we've come to expect from this place. That was not the case for us. Our cook, never said a single word to us. Did not do any of the fun cook things they're supposed to do. He kept running back to the kitchen for things he forgot (meanwhile the food sat there overcooking). The food was not cooked properly and had no flavor. Most of us only ate about half of it. We also had an issue with one of our orders of sushi, they forgot it and didn't even bring it out until the end of the meal. When I complained to a manager about it, she was aware he is a terrible cook, but he was her boss and there was nothing she could do. She offered us a meager 10% discount (on the food only), which came to about $20 on a $380 tab. Needless to say, we will be hard pressed to come back to this place for some time. Very disappointing!

I'm not one to take reviews too seriously when trying to decide on a new place to try for the first time, but man I should have for this restaurant. I'm also not one to post super harsh reviews, so please take this seriously.I spent over $70 on take-out at this establishment for lunch today as I have been craving Hibachi for months now and a lot of the other places out there in the springs also have not so good reviews, so I had settled on this one.I ordered fried wontons, Hibachi chicken and filet mignon with an aded side of Hibachi scallops with fried rice, and Thai Tea.The fried wontons; I would prefer Panda's over these. The Hibachi chicken; super small/dry pieces of non-seasoned chicken. The Hibachi filet mignon; with the quality of the meat it did not seem like filet mignon, it seemed like what you would get from just ordering the normal steak, and also super bland in taste like the chicken.Hibachi scallops; keeping the trend going, super super bland in taste, with the quality of the rest of the food I was expecting these to taste fishy but was surprised when they did not. Also was surprised at how big they were as well.Fried rice; worse and most tasteless fried rice I've ever had at a Hibachi place. Which I guess is why they stuffed so many soy sauce packets in my to-go bag which I thought was weird since I hadn't ordered any sushi.Best part, the thai tea; when they initially handed me my food they didn't hand me a drink, so I went back inside to let them know I had ordered a thai tea. The lady handed me a bottle of thai tea... so I ended up getting two by accident because I was expecting a bottle of thai tea. Which was disgusting by the way.Overall presentation of the hibachi; when I opened the container I immediately wanted to throw the whole thing out just based on looks. The container was stuffed 2/3rds of the way with these weird noodles (random and not wanted, EVER when ordering Hibachi, I mean really???..) and the tiny section that had the protein (which were super minuscule amounts) sitting on top of the very few vegetables that were in there, were just drowning in this watery sauce. If you're thinking about dining in (because everyone knows that getting take-out at a restaurant can be a completely different experience versus eating inside of it), you've been warned. The atmosphere on the inside was very dark and depressing, and if I had seen the inside of this place before ordering I would have picked somewhere else. It was one of the weirdest set-ups for a hibachi place that I've seen, and I'm military and have been to several different places in several different states...so the point of all of this, just stay away. I wouldn't even come back here to try any of the other food items on the menu. If their hibachi quality is this bad I'm scared to think about the quality of their sushi and raw fish selections ?

Great experience! The kids loved it. The waitress was really busy and forgot a few things, but we were taken care of for the most part.
