What a find this was! Not only a lovely environment, but the food was made from scratch. I have a lot of allergies and I was able to eat this food no problem. They have a French chef. Incredible experience. Our server was wonderful also.

Delicious food, generous portions, and quick service! I went with a few friends and we all split the Buffalo Cauliflower (a bit on the spicy side!), Brussels sprouts (SO GOOD) and the goat cheese (ate this all immediately!).

Good food. Small town restaurant with big flavor. Decent menu selection. Staff was busy but pleasant.

The Hungry Goat is an absolute gem. It’s my husband and I’s go to spot for date night & any time we have visitors in town. We’ve dined here so often that at one point, when I got in my car, my apple maps would automatically pop up & tell me how far away The Hungry Goat was from home.
Needless to say we love the food, ambiance, location & staff. We’ve never had a bad meal here and will continue to return. Highly recommend the salmon and steak frites, and don’t skip out on dessert!
Location was packed and extremely noisy. During winter, you will be asked to wait in the very cramped entry-way with about 10 other people - barely standing room.
Some dishes were alright, but the steak I ordered medium-rare came out cold and raw. The menu is limited and the prices are excessive.
The wait staff were alright but nothing to write home about - I've had better service at much cheaper restaurants.
Overall a very dissapointing experience, and one we will not be repeating.

The hostesses and reservation system are really bad. I called to get on the waitlist and was told I had a reservation at six. I showed up and was told I didn’t have a reservation and was added to the waitlist. Five minutes later I was called to ask if I was going to show up or not. When I walked back to the restaurant, the lady who called me, looked very surprised, even though I had given her my name when I first walked in. We were seated, then we were moved to a different table, it was about 40 minutes after I arrived that we finally got service. The food was good, the waiter service was good. It’s pretty drafty in the enclosed patio when the wind blows even with the heat lamps on. I had to put my coat back on, even though my temperature runs pretty hot. Overall, not the best experience.

I have been here countless times and to many other great restaurants. This one continues to be my favorite. Everything is always consistently great from the atmosphere, waiters, and food.

My daughter and I just happened upon this place, and we're so glad we did.
The place is rustic and cozy and comfortable. Our server, Carter, was knowledgeable, friendly, and fun. Everything he recommended to us was spot on delicious and fresh! We shall return!
Dietary restrictions: We made a few changes in our dishes and It wasn't an issue. The chicken noodle soup was spectacular!!!

Your menu prices are about double what they should be. $56 for a filet?? You are not Elways
Food was excellent 10/10. Our server was phenomenal. The experience was lovely. But one of their staff members, a scandalous lady, felt entitled to ruin our day. Left a foul taste in our mouths walking out the door. Really lowered the bar.
Love this place I feel like it’s a hidden gem! So many GF options and honestly some of the best food I’ve ever had! The baked goat cheese dip, apple cheese chive salad, shrimp & grits, octopus entree, steak & frites, and crème brûlée dessert are all incredible!

Unassuming excellence in this little spot in Morrison! There's usually a wait (and no reservations) so we've known about it for years but never made it in. Worth the wait!
Kid-friendliness: Ask server for kids options. They have the usual but really well done. Not a place"for kids" but they accommodate.
