“My husband and I are very loyal customers to Hungry Goat! We visit at least once a month, sometimes more. Food is great! The drinks are even better! (Especially the espresso martini!) The staff is always so kind and friendly. Unfortunately though, lately we have been disappointed. We have ordered the Steak and Frites and more times than not, we have received a steak that has a lot of fat on it. Today, my husbands steak was half fat. I couldn’t believe it was even served to us.. we love this place so much and it’s been really disappointing.”

“One of the best mom and pop steak house in town , The food is always amazing , the service is the best and the prices are very competitive with other steak house even lower in price then the top steak houses. I can’t enough about this little gem tucked away in a little strip mall. Give 5281 a try , you won’t be disappointed at all. We love there food and drinks.”

“Nice roadside restaurant. Easy access from road, shared parking lot with a gas station. Lunch menu had good portions without being too much.

Table Salsa was solid but the Guacamole was fresh and great (may need a second basket of chips)”

“FINALLY an awesome breakfast place in evergreen that's good, affordable food! I'm an evergreen native, and my mom and I just had breakfast here the other day and it was FANTASTIC!!! Everyone was friendly and welcoming, from the hostess to the waitresses. Service was great! Food took a tiny bit longer than expected, but we understand they have just opened and it takes time to build your team. But the wait was worth it! Food was excellent!!! We will definitely be back!”

“would like to extend my grateful appreciation to the parking lot attendant that offered me a dry shirt after rolling in on my bike from a huge rain storm. I was completely soaked and had nothing dry to put on. He grabbed a shirt out of his van and offered it to me. It was cold and miserable that day. After I waited out most of the storm, that dry shirt was a game changer to finish the ride home. My appreciation to him!”

“Absolutely incredible!!! This was hands down one of tbe best meals I’ve had . We went with a group and shared a variety of dishes, and every single one was outstanding. The food was creative, perfectly prepared, and packed with flavor.

Beyond the food, the restaurant itself is beautiful, the service is fantastic, and everything comes out quickly - making it the perfect place to enjoy dinner before a concert at Red Rocks. We had plenty of time to eat an amazing meal and still get to our seats without feeling rushed.

If you’re heading to Red Rocks or are anywhere nearby, Ship Rock Grille is a must-visit. We’ll absolutely be back!”

“We went there on Labor Day. They had a server who quit as soon as they opened. The teamwork was absolutely astonishing the way everyone worked together. You had cooks out there taking orders. A line going out the door. And the service was still AMAZING. They had true passion for their company and just all around a great crew. Their food was great. We got two pizza’s and two pounds of wings which were delicious, highly recommended. This place has an amazing atmosphere, great beers on taps, and phenomenal food. We will definitely be going back. The owner should be extremely proud of the staff they have. If you’re not, than I am.”

“Coming from the northeast, I’m an absolute pizza snob. Pizzeria Lui does not disappoint! Great, chewy crust with bubbles, slightly blackened. Top notch service. Salads are great, but unfortunately are all ready to go, in single use plastic, even when dining in. I’d pay more for compostable containers, or option to bring my own.”

“We went to get rights today for the first time, and it was incredible! The bacon breakfast sandwich was made with the fluffiest brioche roll. The morning bun and hazelnut chocolate croissant were absolutely to die for. I cant wait to try more!”

The Root Vegetable Reuben had juice thinly sliced celery root pastrami with classic pickled kraut, & horse radish creme fraiche on buttery, lightly toasted marbled rye. I upgraded to dirty fries (crispy fried sprinkled with sour cream powder and drizzled with black garlic aioli & fresh chives). Drink was the randomly selected “Mucho Macho OF” - Pasilla, sesame, tamarind, black garlic and Ritual Whiskey Alternative- which was really good and has inspired me to try other zero proof drinks. Dessert was a massive dark chocolate and sea salt cookie which was just the right blend of chewy with crispy edges. Everything was fresh & full of flavor. Updated from previous review on 2026-08-01”

“I've been drinking their coffee for last 5 years. I order their beans every now and then (I live in Texas but always stop by whenever I'm in Colorado to visit my family). I really appreciate their customer service. Last bag of beans were so bad and I knew that was not their norm. I felt that they needed to know. They were quick to investigate why it was a bad batch and apologized. They sent me a bag of their new freshly roasted beans. Thank you and I'll see you in summer when I come up for a visit, have a cortado ready for me.”

“The food was pretty good but the service was terrible.The waitress brought our drinks and then never came back at all!!There was a man that brought our food out and got what we needed but I believe that should have been the waitresses job.The manager just stood around and never came over to see if we needed anything and the restaurant was not busy at all.”
