Set in the beautiful Red Rocks, the views on the patio are wonderful! The service was excellent, really great! Four of us shared the unique sausages and enjoyed all of them, well done. I loved my duck tostada but the guys I was with said the fried chicken sandwich was only ok. Three of us had one drink and the bill for that plus one shared app, and 4 meals was over $170. Expensive for lunch!

We receded immediately in the best outdoor space with the view and our server. Christine was so efficient, friendly and helpful. Our lunch was absolutely delicious and the seasonal holiday cocktails were lovely. We would come back again!

Food was generally good with the exception of forgettable French fries. The service was lacking. We had an appetizer to share among 5 of us and were not given plates. We asked for plates and they didn't come. We had to go to the kitchen to get them and by that time our entrees were there. The sever asked if we would like our soda's refreshed and we said yes. That never happened. Then we ordered two desserts to share among 5 of us. Again, no plates given so we went to the kitchen again to get some, Many people were eating outside but we weren't dressed for that so we sat inside. Except they had the doors wide open so it was cold and we had to wear our coats anyway.

Food was subpar.. onion soup with no cheese or croutons. Flatbread was not flat .. it was thick like the baguette that came with the soup. Burger was good but thin. Ben was an excellant server..attentive and kind. Setting was incredible as always.

Great idea. Bad execution. Menu choices need to be changed to something for concert goers. Food was underwhelming. Drinks were horrible. Staff isn't friendly.

Breathtaking views on the patio, great food, amazing way to dine before a concert at Red Rocks. It started drizzling, and they closed the cover on the patio, which was so nice under the heaters in the mountain rain! The food was delicious & came out SO FAST! We would definitely eat here before a concert again. We walked right in since we had reservations, didn't have to park far or wait in lines to get in to the concert. It's the way to do Red Rocks!!!

The only negative thing we encountered on our visit was that we could not add anything to our salad (onions, specifically). Our server told us that the cooks would in no way add anything or take anything away from what was listed on the menu. Otherwise, it was a great visit, with beautiful scenery, delicious food, and great service.

I ordered the bison bolognese mixed with papardelle pasta and it was amazing! My husband ordered the fall season salad (not sure of the exact title of this), but it was soooo delicious. We of course had to taste each other's dishes and we were both pleased. Hunter our waitress was very nice and friendly. Great service! Gave us everything we needed and recommended the peach cobbler ice cream...once again our pallets were filled with yummy goodness!!! When I made our dinner reservations, I made them for indoor dining due to possible inclement weather conditions but when we arrived at Ship Rock Grille, God blessed us with beautiful weather so while the outdoor seating was filled, we were seated right inside the red rocks panoramic window. The view was spectacular while we sat chatted and ate. Would definitely recommend this place before a concert! We parked in the upper north lot which made entrance to the Ship Rock Grille easy as well as walking to the amphitheater for the concert:)

Our server, Christina, was very slow. Other servers were apologizing for her. We were obviously there to see a concert, so timely service is important. We weren't the only table. One had to go hunt her down for their check and both us and another table had to have another server find her and tell her we were seated before she ever came to our table. Food was very good, but the overall poor service made the whole experience fair at best.

Everything we expected!!! Sat on the patio overlooking Red Rocks and mountains. Food was great and service was friendly and efficient.

Love to eat at Ship Rock when attending a concert at Red Rocks! Food is great and nicely priced. The service was/is outstanding!

Diane

All of our soup, chili and fries were cold. The shrimp bisque was mediocre. The food is way over priced. Skip this place.
