Quite possibly the most frustrating and disrespectful experience here. They quoted 25 minutes for a takeout order on the phone. I ended up waiting an extra 45 minutes for our food. As I asked multiple times for a refund, the manager kept running away from me to go hide in the back kitchen while a young girl at the front kept telling me that only the manager could process a refund. I was essentially held hostage. To make matters worse, as the manager finally returned from her hiding spot, she tried to tell me that the food was only 5 minutes past the quoted time. As I showed her my call log, she responded by saying “I meant 5 minutes past the time on the ticket, not when you called”. So instead of an apology, I received a flat out lie. Horrible operation. Oh and the food is not much better than the service.

Consistently delicious food preparation and excellent service provided by Max. Thanks for being so careful around my food allergy and appreciate the chef making accommodations as well. Highly recommend Talay - a gem in Mountain Village!

I just wrote a review but got kicked out to short and simple is YUM! Everything was delicious including the cocktails. I got Khao Soi and added chilly oil via spice rack. I do recommend a reservation. We did not have one but ate dinner early enough we got a seat in the bar area which is small but with great decor and a great view. Sam who worked in the bar took great care of all of us there.Vegetarian options: Each dish can be chosen with meat, tofu or veggies. Many dishes had a symble stating it could be made vegan

Delicious food! I came for my birthday and it did not disappoint. The veggie tempura was some of the best I have had. We also had Pad Thai with chicken that was delicious. Also, the portions were very large. I will return for sure.

Seriously, this was the best restaurant we ate at during our day in Telluride. The food was delicious and affordable (compared to other restaurants). We ordered Red Curry, Pad Thai curry, and Pad Ka Prow “the duck special”.

The food is really good and authentic. I'm an immigrant Asian so you know what I mean.. The servers are also amazing. We had a great time. Thank you, folks..

Excellent dining experience! Impeccable service and friendly staff. Sam does a great job at the bar and the GM Brenae (sp?) is delightful. The food quality is very good. Slightly pricey, but it's mountain dining so to be expected. The main dining room can get noisy when it's crowded, though it's not overbearing.

The food was delicious but service was slow and waited about an hour to get an appetizer and another 30 to get dinner. The servers were pleasant but not attentive. We were actually shocked at the price. The wine was much more than the meal. I guess that since the food was delicious we would order take out in future

The food was delicious, everything from appetizers to desert. The only thing better was the service, our young lady was spot on. From the beginning to the end she was great Thanks for a wonderful meal.

Food was so delicious and service excellent! Only negative was the gentleman sitting next to us continually coughing. He should know better and be observant of others and cover his mouth! His responsibility not the restaurant!

First, let me say the mixed reviews online almost had us choose another option. But, this is the only asian food in the village so we decided to give it a shot.Next, let me say I’ve had thai from many dozens of places all over the country. This was certainly in the top quartile. Very very good. Fresh, tasty, and high quality. We had Wagyu Pad Kee Mao which was incredible. Hadn’t ever had that. We had shrimp and chicken pad thai which was excellent. The shrimp were huge and fresh. The chicken was organic meat.I will definitely go back and try other options including the crispy duck and the elk tenderloin entrees. The ONLY small knock is that they cook with sunflower seed oil. They’d do themselves a solid by switching away from industrial seed oils (like many other restaurants are doing) to heart healthier options like ZeroAcre, coconut oil, ghee or tallow. Even palm oilwould be a better option. For a restaurant that obviously cares about the quality of its ingredients, making a healthier change in the cooking oil just makes sense. I’d be happy to introduce ZeroAcre which I personally think makes the most sense for stir fry as it is a clean high temp oil that has a mellow neutral taste.I’m very happy to have Siam Talay in the village and will definitely be back.Dietary restrictions: They were happy to accommodate an egg allergy at our table.Kid-friendliness: Offered kids cups and great kids menu. Kids enjoyed it.

Best Thai in telluride hands down, I live in mountain village and eat here often, the manager Bernay is always extremely kind by graciously helping us with any requests, try the Massaman curry duck, it’s absolutely delicious, and the Tom kha soup is also one of my favorites!

Great Thai food. Always quality and tasty. Not sure it can be improved. My gluten free wife ate there, no problems.

Absolutely divine Thai food with high quality ingredients that make every bite irresistible. This is personally the best Thai food I've had (certainly the most enjoyable Thai meal I've had). Highly recommend.
