“It’s rare that my partner and I go out in Telluride or Mountain Village. We both work in the area and decided to take a half day to spend the afternoon together. Given the unusual but beautiful March weather, we decided on Tomboy Tavern so we could sit outside and enjoy the sun. The hostess met us promptly with a smile and sat us right away. Our server Liam was superb. My first drink choice was out of stock, so Liam accommodated by choosing the perfect flavor profiles I was looking for. We were just here to enjoy a drink and light snack, yet were met with professionalism and kindness. Liam made us feel just as important as any other guest spending much more than us. We’re glad there are still local places that accommodate everyone and make us feel welcome as locals. Thanks you guys!”

“Cant speak for the food, but tracks was a great place to get a drink after a long day of skiing. The weather was great, so we sat at a table outside and got a drink from the bar (with quick and efficient service!) Any easy, accessible place to enjoy a drink outside, or sit at the bar inside.”

“My husband and I only spent 3 days in Telluride and came here for dinner twice, which says a lot about the quality of this place. The vegan options are amazing and the mushroom fest ramen was the star, no doubt.

What really makes this place excellent, however, are the employees. We had the same server/bartender twice, Danielle, and she was soooo absolutely lovely to talk to, she made great drinks, and kept the pace of our meals moving at just the right speed. Can't thank her specifically enough for her hospitality!!”

“We visited Telluride in January. Brown Dog is not ordinary pizza. It was extraordinary-I’m completely ruined for pizza anywhere else! We’ve talked about this place countless times since our visit 8.5 months ago. The service was great (I believe our waitress was named Becca) and out of allll the great places we visited in Telluride and Mountain Village, this was the place we’re still talking about. Highly, highly recommend! I don’t know if I’ll ever get back to Telluride, but if I do, you’ll find me at Brown Dog Pizza!”

“I stopped in to see Mick and Keith post wedding shenanigans this past weekend and to pick up some swag, coffee and candles!!! I learned a bit about the roasting process and had the best flat white coffee ever - truly made with love. I’m enjoying my black magic, French press this morning - so delicious. FYI - they ship, so order up!!!”

The restaurant itself has such great vibes too, really good music, relaxed atmosphere, and just an overall good energy that makes you want to stay awhile.

Definitely go if you are looking for a healthy lunch that does not sacrifice flavor. I will 100% be back!”

“The service was excellent, but the food…hot and cold (NO pun intended). My black bean soup was excellent, and so was the salmon. In fact, the salmon was one of the best I’ve ever had. The Crispy Shrimp & Calamari, shared at the table, wasn’t really crispy at all. It had a tiny bit of sauce drizzled over it, but most pieces didn’t get touched by it, so you had to either ask for a side of dipping sauce (which we didn’t) or eat it plain. Also, there were hardly any shrimp in with the calamari. My Caesar Salad was awful. Before ordering, I confirmed that the dressing was made in house, but it was a tasteless, bland, cream colored, nondescript thin liquid, without a hint of garlic. I didn’t complain, but I tried my only other option of adding plenty of salt and pepper, which just didn’t help. We didn’t order dessert, so I can’t comment on that element. Overall, I think Cosmo’s is a very fine restaurant, but maybe we just didn’t choose well. I would certainly go back, but I would never order the Caesar again, and I would carefully discuss the calamari with the server before committing to it.”
