“Server was very nice and helpful - we sat outside and the tables are too close together so it feels like people are in your space the entire time. Food was very tasty and the portions were generous, and I thought the prices were reasonable for Telluride.”

The chef was able to select the most delicate notes to highlight for his dishes. They accomadated pescatarian, vegitarian and food allergies with ease even within the paring dishes. “This small spot serves up huge flavor! I dropped in for some traditional Colombian snacks and was completely blown away. The empanadas have the perfect, crunchy cornmeal crust and are packed with savory, well-seasoned filling—make sure to pair them with their homemade ají sauce! Their arepas was amazing. It is the perfect place to grab a coffee and a quick, authentic bite. The staff is incredibly welcoming and proud of their food. Highly recommend!”

I remember it was the best sandwich I've ever had, and when I was there this weekend I didn't see it. “THIS PLACE WAS INCREDIBLE. We went in for our friend’s bachelorette trip dinner and it was so much fun. We all couldn’t get over how aesthetic it was but also the service was AMAZING. Everyone was so kind and hosted so well, especially the guy that mainly took care of us, he went out of his way to take pics of us and make sure we were well taken care of!! The food was also insane (especially the steak) so thank you chef!! 100/10 experience and EVERYONE needs to go there now!”

“We visited Telluride in January. Brown Dog is not ordinary pizza. It was extraordinary-I’m completely ruined for pizza anywhere else! We’ve talked about this place countless times since our visit 8.5 months ago. “My wife and I spent 3 days in Telluride enjoying this gem of a town and hiking to celebrate 46 years of marital bliss. We dined here Saturday evening and had a wonderful dining experience. The setting feels intimate and lent itself to quiet conversation even with a bridal party adjacent to us with 16 people. We loved our fig salad and my bronzino was perfectly prepared and filleted which I appreciated. My wife loved the corn and lump crab orzo which had a wonderful pairing of flavors. The Portuguese green wine was a delicious enhancement to the wonderfully prepared and presented food. The host recommended the cherry pie for dessert and it was even tastier than he led us to believe. Our server was helpful, unobtrusive but affable and polite. We had a fantastic evening and think this restaurant is the cat’s meow!”

The waiter was very nice and told us about all the different options that we were unfamiliar with, gave us recommendations, and brought our food out to the patio. The food was delicious and well presented.”
