We stopped in for a quick drink before our dinner reservations. I don’t remember the name of their signature drink, but it was delicious. It tasted like a mudslide with espresso beans in it. Absolutely delicious!!

New Sheridan Historic Bar in downtown Telluride is a gem of a bar filled with locals and great energy. The atmosphere alone makes it worth the visit. The minute you walk in, you feel like you stepped into another era, almost a western cowboy movie set. It is tiny, intimate, and full of character. There is an excellent variety of spirits at very reasonable prices, and the drinks are phenomenal. The service is friendly and attentive. Some nights feature a live band, which adds to the vibe. The bar also has a rooftop bar and a downstairs area where the Elk is spectacular. No reservations are needed for the bar. The only downside is that it gets really crowded. The bar is small, and people grab seats early and stay for hours. On busy nights, there may be only two bartenders working, leading to about a 20 minute wait for a drink. The pool tables are too close together, making it extremely difficult to play pool. Food may be unavailable around 10 even though google map mentions food is available till closing. Overall, it is a great spot for a casual, authentic Telluride experience with amazing atmosphere, strong drinks, and good vibes.
