“Amazing homemade ice cream and great iced coffee. The ice cubes were coffee, which I really appreciated and as an ice cream maker i was impressed my the mix of creative and classic flavors. Try the cinnamon cayenne honey if you can. My dog loved the pup cup. They open early and close at 4, so have ice cream for breakfast and live a little.”

“Great menu options. Very fresh food with thoughtful flavors. We were surprised by the quality of food as they are a new spot, but the kitchen staff is on point. We have been to every restaurant in Ouray and this is in the top three. Friendly service, nice vibe. We will be back for sure.”

“Dude, you can get a burger for $10 or a cheeseburger for $11, including free hand cut fries! That alone makes it the best burger in town. A town where you can go to other places and get a burger and fries and one cocktail for $40. On top of all that it's a good dang burger, and they have a topping bar where you can fix it the way you like it. It is a great deal, and deals like that are few and far between and tourist mountain towns here in Colorado.”

“This is one of the few places left that doesn't try to convince you that it is something that it will never ever be. The guy behind the counter is kind of like The soup Nazi and just tells you what they have what they don't have and no they won't make any changes. It's also one of the few places left that knows how to make a real macchiato. Frankly, I loved it, even though I like brewed coffee, which they do not make. It's expensive, they know it, and they don't care. I think people go there for the authenticity, and I will too.”

“Had the BEST experience at Kami’s Samis! We actually had breakfast here both days of our weekend getaway because it was that good. Food is amazing! Coffee was wonderful and Matt took great care of us. We will be back next time we’re in town. Been craving the breakfast quesadilla since we got back to Oklahoma. Wonderful place!”

“We absolutely loved our stay at the Imogene! The room was impeccably clean and the views were amazing! Bed was comfortable and the housekeeper was so sweet and made sure we had everything we needed for our stay! There is no staff onsite so that was unique but check-in was seamless and any questions I had during our stay were answered within an hour or two. The rooftop bar was amazing. It snowed the first day we were there but he still went up and turned on fire pits for us so we could hang out up there.”

“Locally owned and operated spot that does it all. Pastries (cinnamon rolls and carrot cake are my favorites), sandwiches, burgers and and hand scooped ice cream.

Two nice shaded porch areas and a very cozy interior. This place is a gem and because it's on the far north side of town most people miss it. Be smart - stop in early in your trip.”

“Great place. We chose this place because I am gluten free (celiac) and they had good reviews for it. Our server was a bit standoffish about being celiac and very adamant about the airborne gluten in their kitchen being a ramen restaurant, which I appreciate honestly because it’s nice they care enough to let you know. But I got the pork and rice, I did not have a reaction from it but I did not eat the whole plate.
My husband is not gf and enjoyed his food. Great place for gluten free options but I would give it a 2/5 for being celiac safe just because of their main menu options and cross contamination risks. As a celiac, just be cautious and know how much cross contamination you’re okay with in order to eat here. No complaints about the food or atmosphere!”

“We visited Telluride in January. Brown Dog is not ordinary pizza. It was extraordinary-I’m completely ruined for pizza anywhere else! We’ve talked about this place countless times since our visit 8.5 months ago. The service was great (I believe our waitress was named Becca) and out of allll the great places we visited in Telluride and Mountain Village, this was the place we’re still talking about. Highly, highly recommend! I don’t know if I’ll ever get back to Telluride, but if I do, you’ll find me at Brown Dog Pizza!”
