“Dude, you can get a burger for $10 or a cheeseburger for $11, including free hand cut fries! That alone makes it the best burger in town. A town where you can go to other places and get a burger and fries and one cocktail for $40. On top of all that it's a good dang burger, and they have a topping bar where you can fix it the way you like it. It is a great deal, and deals like that are few and far between and tourist mountain towns here in Colorado.“

“This is one of the few places left that doesn't try to convince you that it is something that it will never ever be. The guy behind the counter is kind of like The soup Nazi and just tells you what they have what they don't have and no they won't make any changes. It's also one of the few places left that knows how to make a real macchiato. Frankly, I loved it, even though I like brewed coffee, which they do not make. It's expensive, they know it, and they don't care. I think people go there for the authenticity, and I will too.“

“Locally owned and operated spot that does it all. Pastries (cinnamon rolls and carrot cake are my favorites), sandwiches, burgers and and hand scooped ice cream.
Two nice shaded porch areas and a very cozy interior. This place is a gem and because it's on the far north side of town most people miss it. Be smart - stop in early in your trip.“

“Used to go to True Grit. Food & service left a lot to be desired, & we got charged extra for side dishes that were supposed to come with the meal. Even with a 25% military discount, it's not worth it anymore. Now, along comes The Lazy Dog Saloon who saved my day of ravenous hunger with their delicious foods. Drove from Cedaredge to Ridgway looking for a good meal. Here it was! Succulent, cooked med. rare sirloin with honey sweet baked beans topped with crispy bacon. & loaded mashed potatoes with crisp bacon bits & cheese. I will certainly be eating there everyday while we are camped there for the July 4th holiday.“

“Floradora bangs every time. I’m a 7 year local who has been here many times and it’s always high quality. I’m a huge fan of the short rib poutine, the popper burger and the pho. They have such a wide selection and it’s amazing! Last night I got the birria French dip which was spectacular, my fiancé got the coconut shrimp tacos and they were on fire! Pics provided for both of these. Do yourself a favor and try this place, you won’t be let down!“

“I went early Thursday morning and bought 2 doughnuts, jelly and a cinnamon sugar. The two doughnuts cost $9 and some change, they were pretty big *that's what she said* I had to cut them in half to finish later. I was greeted when I walked in and the lady at the register was friendly. I will be back.“

“As a local, I have loved Kate’s for several years. However, I do NOT like the recent changes. The beloved home fries are gone and replaced with frozen diced potatoes- very disappointing. You can’t upgrade your bread option to a pancake anymore, either.“

“We highly recommend this place in a mountain setting that can't be beat, freshly prepared & delicious breakfast selections, welcoming, professional & gracious staff, and outdoor seating perfect for us with our fur baby. “Caravan’s middle eastern food is absolute fabulous! And plentiful! Fresh & amazingly flavorful food. We had the veggie plate with tabouli, baba ghanouj, hummus, spanakopita, falafel & salad. The owner, David & his wife Diana, went above & beyond & we had one of the best experiences ever at a restaurant. I highly recommend Caravan!!“
